hay mate you would have to contact garrett direct. i have only rebuilt them on trucks and we use a new cartridge and clean, blast and crack test the snails. unless you have the facilities to dynamically ballance the cartridge once you have assembled it is going to be a time bomb. cheers, boz

go see jetspeed they can do anything you want as long as you are willing to pay. but i got a off the shelf trust front bar and unsure of the exact origan of they side skirts and the rear half bar but i think they are do-luck and i think it looks tip top. i think the whole kit was fitted and painted for ~$1500. good luck

Hay mate you might have to check that your drive shaft is aligned correctly and has a of 1-2 degrees difference between your drive line angles. If not you will not get any movement in your universal needle bearings and they will eventually lock up. Cheers, Boz

Hay guys I have a GT3071R with a 0.63 turbine hsg on it. I have not installed it yet due to Christmas and New Year but will be hopefully on in about 2-3 months so if you can wait till them I will pm you with how it goes. I have pm'ed discopotato03 about this turbo set up before and he mentioned that is was very similar to the GT2835. Please correct me if I am wrong? A few people I have talked to that had them on there RB20s made 240rwkw and had full boost by 4000rpm so on a RB25 it will hopefully be around 3500rpm with a good tune. Cheers, Boz

hay mate i just got one also from monsta performance it looks ok, just needs a little work on the wastgate runner (match porting). but i have talked to a few other members that also have one and for the money it is worth it. just buy a good wastegate ie: TiAL or somthing similar. cheers, boz

My friend and I have just spent the last month striping and prepping an rb26 to fit in to a VL and he blew 6 grand on the short block. But it is built for around 800-900Hp. cp pistons, Jun rods, machined crank collar and N1 pumps etc. And that was with us building it. So if you are getting someone else to build it I would put aside 9 grand for a strong engine. Cheers, Boz
