  1. Fellow WA goldmembers, I need to get my gearbox dropped to replace a clutch pivot point, and I really cbf doing it myself. Now, Auto Clutch is on holidays from Friday - Wednesday next week EEK! I need this done asap. My question - What's the name of the mechanical people NEXTDOOR to Auto Clutch that do all Ross' remove/refit work? Does anyone know/still have thier reciept ? Please drop me a line if you know! Thanks, Kym
  2. Good thing I'm getting the heavy duty one! (I have a 2500lbs single plate with a ceramic clutch) - yes, its REALLY heavy under the foot! I'll let you all know how I go putting the new one in (yes, this man has pretty girly hands - blame computers)
  3. Sorry - fixed up the 3rd post - I changed webhosts today!
  4. A little bit of patience.... and BAM. Got it off, without removing box! THANKYOU ratchet ring spanner! Pics for science.... I feel another one of my world famous DIY threads coming!
  5. F*CK. taking the box out is going to be hell! I can get a ring spanner around the mofo from the clutch fork opening - I'm going to try my luck without taking it out first I think!
  6. OK, so mine is broke and the boat needed a tow home. BOO! UAS have clutch pivot points for sale for 55bux. Can I DIY? And do I need to take the box out to replace this sucker? ALSO, how the HELL do you get the for retaining spring off? Is there a knack to it? Cheers guys,

  17. Chris, Can you elaborate on that one a little? I've got a small crunch like that into 4th - glazed? and deglazing by driving it? I'm interested....
  18. Photos. Its the ONLY thing that will stand up in court with this one. Otherwise its just your word against his! Good luck!
  19. I did a search then and found LOADS of split dumps, just do a cut and shut yourself Maybe masTers was right on the devine intervention (only for you)
  20. Perhaps this pic can explain it HKS on the left, Stock on the right.
  21. I didn't have one put on, that's the way they are from the factory. Yours has an open hole between the wastegate and exhaust, so it will sound like crap. Highflows still use the stock housing.
  22. Mine sounds OK on HKS 2535 - but there's a partition (totally blocked) between the exhaust output and the wastegate output
  23. Not too shabby - 6mb/600k connection - spot on!
  24. move out of home seconded
