  1. The australian car scene needs some better direction and less wanky ricer mobiles out there being driven by people who think that because they have big rims and a stereo, that their car is a performance car, sports car, or luxury car. wrong. its just a big rice mobile. And to 3/4 of the luxury car owners, who drive their riced up cars like its a sports car - get a grip - you bought a luxury car, stop driving to be a boy racer. here is a link to a site that is going to help shape the NEW aussie car scene! http://thecarscene.com/
  2. if anyone is after factory service manuals for r32 or r33, or any other nissan or mazda or toyota (we are building up a huge library of articles and factory manuals for FREE download) - please visit and register at http://thecarscene.com/
  3. http://thecarscene.com/ We have tried to contact the owners of SkylinesAustralia to get a link to our site/club hosted, but as yet - no luck/reply. Hence this thread. We are promoting a new site and spin on the whole Japanese car scene-thing in Australia. Please give me any feedback on the site and any suggestions; preferably, register on the site and keep contributing! We have the R32 and now R33 factory service manuals, and will have the R34 within days, have the 350Z, 300ZX, S13,S14,S15 and RNN14 GTIR factory service manuals also. Drift videos, events, gallerys - many cars (not just skyline, we have a tech section for each major japanese performance car/model). Check it out anyway! Trav ** the skyline section has only been added recently, the flyer for the site is below but it doesnt list 'R31, R32, R33, R34, R35/G35' Skyline when it should. Sorry but it will be updated soon The site already has skyline forums and plenty of information.

  10. -filter -boost @ 1 bar -stock suspension or otherwise softer damper settings and as close to zero or even + .5 camber as u can get, reasonably soft tyres, deflated too a bit -good clutch and good adjustment point (friction point close to ground but enough pressure for redline shift) -exhaust 3" from turbo back -good plugs, gap at .7-8mm -good fuel, 98RON -good fuel supply, new filter and a pump such as bosch 040 or 044 or walbro equiv, ex-GTR pump etc -ignition +2 degrees from stock but no further -s15 intercooler or something similar in size. -LSD in decent condition, gearbox in OK condition then get your launch right (launch Hard with traction/slip if needed) and you will not have any problem getting a high 12. even with a cleaned, stock intercooler.
