hey all,
thats my car in the OP. See here for my feedback on the mat:
http://www.sau.com.au/forums/index.php?/topic/457089-R32-Dash-Mat
Whilst ill leave it for adz2332 to organise the GB I will contact Vechicle Protection Co to give them a heads up

yep love it. sounds great. just need the front pipes to match.
picked up the system off an sau member.
the tip is a wee bit big lol but i dont care. Its nismo!
yes i have done it
the mounts were done before i bought the car (compliance i presume)
i recently built a new parcel shelf and to get the anchor points to work with the stock speakers covers i had to reocate the speakers slighty closer to the cpillars
in terms of car seats i have used these for both my kids, excellent seats:

no i dont unfortunately. I dont own that car anymore
series 1 and 2 r32's have different clusters
the one on that link is a series 1 and my car was a series 2 (1992 model)
i had no problems finding the location to screw the wires even though my cluster differed to the pics. you should be able to find it easy enough
At the moment nothing. It is so well fitted to the design of the dash it needs nothing to hold it.
I have also done a drive up macquarie pass last week and the mat didnt budge
an adhesive velcro stripped is supplied and i will fit in places where the mat sits up a little.
Before purchasing I did enquire about what damage the adhesive can do. Phil confirmed it cleans up easy with Metho

they sure do. i personally dont have the time to organise a group buy but im happy to ask phil if there is a bulk discount.
in my opinion given the quality and fitment they are worth the $70. Thats cheaper then replacing a dash. I doubt there is much margin in such an item to discount but we can ask
yes i have done it before
i followed this guide
http://forums.gtrcanada.com/gts-tech/51132-how-wire-gt-r-triple-gauge-gts-t-r32.html
this will get the voltage and boost working but for oil temp you will need an oil filter sandwich plate and a oil temp sensor fitted to the sandwich plate.
this part number for the oil temp sensor should do the trick: 2507505U00

Hey Guy's
I am one of the lucky few that has a dash in my R32 GTR with no bubbles/lifting and I want to do as much as possible to keep it that way.
I have had a protectomat dash mat made up by Vechicle Protection Co in CastleHill (www.vipco.com.au)
Very happy with the quality and fit. Its of a very good quality velour and stitch. Other colours are available.
It cost me $85 delivered to regional nsw.
If your interested contact phil at vipsales@optusnet.com.au. He is very helpful and turned around the mat in a few days. Mention jason from SAU and im sure he will look after you. They should also have mats for the R33/R34
Here are some quick pics. I have yet to fit the velcro/adhesive pads. I reckon it looks great and compliments the interior
Cheers
