Hey guys and gals, Wondering if anybody knows what belts I can use for the Powerbond underdriven balancer on my 31 Skyline. Deleted aircon so only need one belt for the alternator and another for the power steering. Cheers

Cheers, that exactly what I needed to know. Was super confused because a mate had a head and all the valves were closed. Since this was the first time doing this I thought I must of mucked something up because it wasn't the same.

Hi guys, so I had a go at taking my R31's (RB30) head off. Made sure to TDC and aligned the crank pulley with the markings, used a screwdriver in cylinder #1 spark-plug whole to make sure it was at the top of the stoke. Also took the rocker cover off to make sure the valves on #1 and #6 weren't open (turning the crank until neither rockers were moving) to know I was on the compression stroke. However, as per attached photo the exhaust valve on cylinder #2 and intake valve on cylinder #3 are open. All the other valves are closed. Questions are: 1. Did I mess up TDC? 2. Could the valves be possibly stuck open? Cheers for any responses, hopefully I didn't mess up too bad. IMG_1341.HEIC

Hi all, chasing some advice on my RB30 build. I'm going with a Garrett 3076R with 1000cc bosch injectors on E85. Not looking to make massive power, just wanting parts that will run the setup comfortably. I've searched the forums but there seems to be no definite answer. Questions I have are: 1. What fuel pumps are people using? Not looking to go for a surge tank yet. I assume some type of Walbro setup, any recommended ones? 2. Computers? I was going to go with a nistune VLT ecu but if there are better 'budget friendly' options that people know of that would be awesome. Cheers in advance

Hi All, Thinking of getting into the drift scene with an R31 however I have searched the forums and come to no definite conclusion about RB20DET/ET vs RB30ET. Would it be better to buy an RB20DET/ET skyline or turbo an RB30E? I understand at the end of the day not project car is ever cheap in the long run but I'm trying to go for the most budget friendly option. Cheers.
