Hi guys, after reading through the rb25 turbo results, i'm after stats on this turbo. eg: when boost hits, how many rwkw can they put out, etc. Can someone point me in the right direction or talk from experience. i'm after a responsive turbo for my rb25det running forgies and soon cams. For street and some track Chaseing 280ish.rwkw Thanks Simon btw, was considering a gt30 but too big and laggy and want more power than a highflow.
  3. i have seen race bearings for rb25/26 made by larry perkins. Has anyone used these or know if they are any good?
  4. nice result pal, does anyone know what power figure the 550cc injectors are good for? You are running 276rwkw at 13.7 psi. Is this correct? if so then how much more can you get out of your turbo? simon

  10. cool, i haven't yet brought the pistons. if i put 26 pistons in will that make the bore too thin?
  11. around 300rwkw, can you explain the collar on the crank for me? why?
  12. i'm rebuilding my rb25det with gtr rods, arias pistons 20tho and want to know what the benifits of running a rb26 crank are? Should i stay with the 25 one? what happens to that if i keep it? do i put a collar for the oil pump? engine is apart already, can someone explain? thanks simon

  15. nis-yeah, sweet, what power level did you get and with what setup?
  16. abo- what are these squish zones you talk about? what sort of head work? port? polish? i was told head work was not needed for what i was after. Are there problems with using a thick head gasket to achieve 8.5 cr? Ihave also been told that o-ringing the head and or block is noot needed for my power levels. can someeone explain this also? thanks simon

  19. nis- cheers, even with wide rubber? what would the difference be with boost issues? Would the .82 bring boost on early in the rev range? I don't know too much about turbo's. please explain! thanks simon
  20. nis-i'm going to get the block and head machined and built by nigel at raceline with standard crank rb26 rods arias pistons. Keep the head the same and change cr to 8.5 using hks or similar head gasket. Assembling the rest myself with a mechanic mate. 217/r33-ive been told that the .63 int gated turbo will suit my needs. Thats with some cams thrown in. Any help is appreciated, simon
