does the series 1 engine have that variable cam/valve timing stuff??? or is that just the series 2 engine?

i have searched the forums hi and low and have some conflicting info Will greedy valve springs for a r34 gtt (8.8mm lift) fit into a rb25det? Has anyone successfully tried putting n1 water and oil pumps onto a rb25det Is there any way that i can visually identify a rb25det and the rb20det gearbox? I only have the box not the whole car does anyone have a pic of a r33 gts25t gearbox? or do they have one out of the car that i can look at??? do they look different to rb20 gearboxes?? Does the series 1 engine have nvcs or vvti like the series 2 engine because i wanna change both exhaust and inlet cam gears Do 20b rotary injectors fit straight in? i have a aftermarket ecu already Thanks for any help you guys n gurls can provide:)

im just after a few personal experiences on the pros and cons of the following ecus, microtech LT or LTX12, ems 8860, wolf 3d v4 plus, new link plus, haltech e8. will be purchasing one soon to run a rb25det. im not after a plug and play unit as the engine will not using its original loom. :confused: thanks for the help

yeah look for the alarm brain, depending on who installed it, it may be hard or easy to find, start with under the steering column, when u find the brain open it up(few screws etc) and your should she 1 or 2 pairs of obviously thicker looking wires, cut and join these together and there you go, may sound hard but once you locate the thicker wires its no problem.

hey im a bit of a newbie here what sort of rear wheel kw figure will a stock rb25det take? it will be used for drifting, will it take 250rwkw? wat sort of oil flow probs etc do they have? anything that i need to take care of regarding reliabiltiy? wat generally gives up first? i will retain stock rev limit also any help would be much appriciated
