  1. I have a BRAND NEW GARRETT GT3582R 1.06 REAR HOUSING for sale, never installed.

I replaced it with a 0.82a/r housing after realising (before even installing it) that the 1.06 was too big for my application.

Good if you picked up an ex-XR6 GT35 and want to run an external wastegate OR if you're currently running a 0.82 on a RB25 and want to run a RB30 bottom end.

    ASKING PRICE : $485

GCG retails this unit for $593 AUD so save yourself a hundred bucks.

FREE SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA & PICK UP FROM BLACKTOWN AREA IS AVAILABLE

I can also have the compressor cover polished to a mirror finish for an extra $145.

I also have a BRAND NEW genuine Garrett 1.06 a/r turbo housing for this turbo for an extra $485 if interested, GCG is asking $593 for this item - I rang and checked.

  3. I just sold a PFC with the genuine Apexi add-on boost kit two weeks ago for $1500 - it was a couple of months old and I replaced it with a Haltech...so spewin hey.

As with the cage, NO ITS NOT CAMS APPROVED due to the diameter of the main hoop, its not thick enough..... and as with the sunroof model, all you have to do to make one of these cages fit a sunroof model Skyline, you take the feet-flange plates off, remove about 2.5 inchs off each side of the main hoop, then reattach the feet. This is because the factory sunroof in the roof lining make it all sit a little lower than the non sunroof model.

  4. I hear what you are saying... but really.... autometer? :D

Nothing wrong with Autometer, I've got six 52mm Cobalt gauges mounted on a 3-DIN carbon panel along with 4 rocket-launcher switches (for the 044 pumps and water sprayer etc) instead of the aircon/stereo/tray setup, also a boost and fuel pressure on the pillar and the tacho on the steering column.... along with the cage, gives the whole 'race car' feel.

Also, the wideband airfuel gauge has a dedicated output wire to hook up to the ECU that you can configure to the correct voltage output range to suit. It made all the difference when tuning the PowerFC Ive got at the moment.

  5. Couple of things to consider:

    1. The US guy probabley sells more Haltechs in a month that tweakit do in a year hence can buy at a better rate (or may be prepared to sell at a lower margin).

    2. There would be GST in the tweakit price (213.18... roughly) - if the haltech got valued at customs at its true market value (unlikely) you would be up for another couple of hundred at least (customs entry and GST, depending on what tariff they use you may be up for even more).

    3. Buying locally can be worth it in the long run (even if you pay a little more) just in case you need some help with the product you purchased...

That being said - I know, it seems wrong that Aussie products can be bought cheaper in the US...

    Just my 2c

99% of the time when I buy stuff from the US, I request the seller to declear the item as a 'gift' when sending it, that way... NO CUSTOMS TAX, NO GST...... Just before the Aussie dollar crashed a few months back, I brought 9 Autometer COBALT gauges from a seller over there, e.g. I paid $220 AUD for a Wideband airfuel gauge that goes for over $600 here. The lucky thing was, they arrived exactly 3 days before the dollar crashed ! lol

Also, I checked with Haltech here in Western Sydney, they said providing I can supply the details of the distributor (here or overseas), they will provide FULL technical support and warranty as long as its a geunine Haltech unit.

  6. Hey guys,

I have found a supplier in the USA that can supply Haltech ecu's CHEAP.

Give you an example, Tweakit here in Australia lists their SPORTS2000 RB25DET Plug n Play kit for $2345 AUD, 'siverturbo' on www.ebay.com (US) listed the identical kit for USD $1620.99, which is AUD $2025.10 converted over to the Aussie dollar. Take a look for yourselves:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...T&viewitem=

This is a proper Ebay store with all the other popular Haltech ecu's in the range listed as well.

NOW WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS, HOW THE F*#K CAN A SUPPLIER IN AMERICA SHIP AN AUSSIE MADE UNIT BACK TO US HERE IN OZ $300+ CHEAPER THAN WHAT THEYRE SELLING THEM HERE AT HOME ????? JUDGE FOR YOURSELVES.

The .63 housing on the GT35 is way too small. .82 is perfect for the 2.5 litre and the 1.06 for the 3 litre.

  8. Hi guys,

Just picked up a brand new Plazaman plenum and Im after the metal-frame-reinforced rubber gasket / seal that goes between the upper and lower runners on the inlet plenum on the R33 RB25DET engine..... phew....that was a mouth full !

I dont wanna really go to NISSAN unless I really had no choice.......if somebody knows where I can go to get it cheaper.....Im sure SOMEBODY would have had to get one at some stage.....

The one that looks like a chain of 6 rings.....I mean, I could re-use the original but being over 10 years old, I dont wanna risk it and go thru the grief of having to rip the bloody thing off again after fitting it just because its bloody leaking.....

So drop us a line if anybody knows

    THANKS FELLAS....

    DOUBLE DIN $75

    TRIPLE DIN $90

Prices include shipping via registered post to anywhere in Australia.

I'll be taking orders once these new ones are ready to be shipped.

  10. Yeah not happy. Im pissed, I checked his profile and looked at previous posts but failed to see any bad doings..... I even spoke with his Mum and transferred the money into her account. I asked her to read me the part number off the box and I checked and the number was genuine and was a strange number so I thought they would have definately had to have them box there with them to be able to do that.... Then there was just excuse after excuse saying he had been in hospital and had dramas with the post office bla bla. Now he will not answer his phone.

I have left a bad trader rating and reported him to the mods and have my bank trying to trace and recall the funds. Fingers crossed.

    Cheers guys

Anybody can get the part number from the company's (Greddy) website so that part's not hard.....Personally, I think this sale started as genuine with the seller originally having those coilovers, BUT as soon as he received you money, the devil's voice inside his head took control and he must've decided to 'STUFF YOU, now I have your money, I wont bother sending your coilovers because its so easy for me to get away with it...with you being interstate and all'

Personally, I reckon the seller kept your money and sold the coilovers again to somebody else....he double dipped at your expense.

Have you reported this to the cops yet ? Id be chasing it up if it was me.....four digits is a lot of money, thats a weeks wage (or even two for some !) for me.....

  11. Oh yeah, I received my GT3582R turbo....brand new ball bearing turbo in Garrett box, I picked it up from the post office COD. What they do is, I hand them the cash, they deduct their fee, make out a money order for the seller to go back to his end, transaction completed - No hassles, no dramas.

FOR AN EXPENSIVE ITEM, THE SELLER SHOULD UNDERSTAND AND HAVE NO OBJECTIONS TO COD AS A METHOD OF PAYMENT. IF THEY DONT LIKE IT, THEN THE CHANCES ARE PRETTY GREAT THAT THE WHOLE THING IS A SCAM.

  12. Not a huge fan of the little ones for mine, wanted something that goes all the way across the radiator/headlights in carbon. Mate has the garage defend one on his S15 and it looks amazing.

The one I have is a full one that goes from one end of the rad support to the other. You can decorate it with some decals or whatever.

  13. Hmm thats probably why no one makes them for the series II then :)

Could you still post up a pic of how it sits?

No worries, I'll take a pic of it on Saturday....I gotta run right now.....Gotta go to work so I can pay for this terrible addiction callled 'Skyline' ! :D

  14. OKAY GUYS,

    RESIN SUPPLY HAS ARRIVED !!!

Im busy-as this week doing 12 hour shifts but I'll start making those DIN-plates this weekend and will post photos up around Sunday/ Monday night....

    Cheers guys

  15. Could you make an entire carbon deflector for a R33 Series II front like this:

    post-35676-1242637842_thumb.jpg

    post-35676-1242637858_thumb.jpg

All the ones that are available are for R33 GTR's. Pretty sure if you made these for Series I's and II's they would be very popular...

Its called a Radiator support air diversion plate.

Errrr.... I have a GTR one already on my 1997 series II R33 GTS25T..... If it fits a GTR, it'll fit a GTST. The areas above the headlights are slightly different on a series 2 but once you bolt it on, you cant tell ! Honestly, if you really want one, I guess I can use my existing one as a mould and modify it slightly to fit a series 2, but like I said, the difference is so small it impossible to tell.
