  1. im willing to ship international as long as ur willing to pay for it

    the flange is a T3

I was very interested .... until I saw the pics....

So dont worry about it, the welding is not the best, for the money youre asking, better quality can be had.

For a few dollars more, a 6boost manifold is sand blasted, hand ported/finished and much better presented as well as ceramic coated.

Good luck selling it, you'll need it.... for the price youre asking.

  2. LOL

I have been hunting for a pair of 'RARE AS ROCKIN HORSE SHIT' series 2 R33 headlights for over 2 years to replace my not so crash-hot pair that's currently on the car as I refuse to pay drug money for them, new or otherwise.

Anyways, I found a pair on US Ebay - a local importer over there had a pair in his new shipment and since not many people have Skylines over in the States, nobody bidded against me, the auction started at 99 cents.....AND ENDED AT $41 USD ! The other person that bidded probably wanted them for a conversion into his 240SX - to make a fake Skyline.

I paid $41 + $50 shipping for a pair in excellent condition with no broken tabs what so ever.....

    NOW THATS A F*&KIN BARGAIN ! :)

  3. Sorry guys, this one is sold.

    HOWEVER,

My mate also replaced his GTR wing on his R33 with a boot-lip item and Im sure he wants to sell it as well. It's the same version to the one I had. so keep an eye on this space and I will let you guys know in the next day or two, OR you can email me at [email protected] on Sunday night 28th Sept and I will get back to you ASAP.

    First in best dressed.

  4. Hi, just purchased a New Autometer Cobalt gauge but no instructions as the previous owner purchased the tach but never installed it and managed to lose the installation instructions in the process.

NOW. Which wire do I clip on the back of the Autometer Tacho for a R33 Skyline ??? Do I clip the brown wire only ?? OR do I clip both the brown AND blue wires ? also, do I hook up the green wire to the tach output on the ECU ?

    Any help is appreciated.

  5. Hi, I have a spare genuine R33 GTR V-spec factory adjustable rear spoiler, metallic maroom in color, missing end caps (can get these at most bodykit places or genuine from Nissan), but in overall excellent condition. It is currently still mounted on the original boot that it came from the factory with, however, I want to keep the boot for the ocassional change from a GTR wing to a lip by changing the boot instead of stuffing around changing and damaging the wings.

This item is for pickup in Sydney only and if interested, contact me at [email protected]

Item : Full adjustable factory R33 GTR V-spec rear spoiler

    Price : $300

  6. There is only one guy selling them on Ebay, 'driftinsider' is the name of the seller, he reckons he got his stock from UP GARAGE in Japan and theyre genuine. If theyre fake and not old stock made before the TAKATA range update in early 2006, then theyre pretty good fake copies.

TAKATA had a product update in 2006 and how do we know that these so-called fakes arent left overs that seem to be expiring soon so theyre getting rid of them cheap ?

Im not sure myself so Ive reported it to Ebay as well. Im claimin it under 'Item recieved is different to one shown in listing' as the one he sent me has 'Corporation' under it and the one in the listing's pic with the naked girl hasnt.

  7. The green wheels are a bit of a joke arent they? The black ones with the red trims Ive got on order aren't too bad tho. All I need now are some overfenders to make them legal, instead of having them hanging out.

  8. Buddy, without reading anyone elses replies except for your original one, I'd have to say the second car seems a bit better in terms of the low km's and considering there is f-all difference in the price......Dont know why you'd even ask...Oh yeah, as long as you can be sure the meter readings are all genuine.

  9. post-15295-1192453254_thumb.jpgpost-15295-1192453069_thumb.jpg

Does anybody know where we can get any of these R33 overfenders at a reasonable price? The ones on the red R33 are suppose to be ones made by Abflug and the white one is a 100mm (wider than GTR so even wider for a GTS25T) version by Veilside. Anybody?

I know RacePro in NZ sells the 100mm items but at $2000 a pair !?! But I do say they look a lot better than the abflug version as they look a lot more 'natural'.

Im waiting on SRB_empire to see what their overfenders are like, he says they're only 30mm over so it's a bit of a let down in the overkill department but at $400 a pair it's a considerable compromise. it just means I cant get the 13inch wide rims I originally wanted.

So anyone got any ideas ? Oh yeah, front guards too.....anyone?

  10. Al, detuned until he can afford a R33 GTST box n a diff upgrade. Dont forget, not everbody has the funds (or the bloody rich parents) to do what they want to their cars, considering Mr Rigoli probably sent him broke with donk alone. It makes me sick sometimes, I came to a cruz a little while ago and took some photos, I took one at Newcastle with a whole isle of Skylines and you know what? 9 / 10 were P platers ! Now the question is how many of these are actually owned by the driver? and not brought with mummy's cash ? It took me two years of my hard savings just to get to my starting point - a '97 series II '33. No offence to any of the p-platers that actually got their cars with their own cash but I think ppl know what Im on about. It'd be nice to have all the cash in the world to do whatever u want to ya ride

  11. In my R33 series II '97, I have a 'Stealth' BOV from Go Fast Bits which has a plumb-back as well as a trumpet outlet, it has two type of settings, spring tension and outlet, it allows you to set the ratio between full dump to the plumb-back or trumpet and everything in between, so what I did was started with full trumpet and gradually tried settings (all 17 of them) until the 'pop' or backfire goes away, by doing this, you are allowing just enough air back into the inlet to stop the 'running rich' condition. Believe me, I paid AUS$550 for the Stealth with the extension trumpet and it's worth every cent ! ALSO, I got pulled over once and this cop tried to defect me for my BOV and I jarded him by turning it off !! now, how many BOV are there that lets you turn the sound off right there n then without having to pull the damn thing off?? I think Go Fast Bits now have a new version that just came out not that long ago that has a electric servo built into the BOV so that you can make the setting from inside the cockpit. Now Try that sucker !

  12. By the way, when I say EMS, Im referring to the brand, ie the blue logo..... Like I said, you can get rid of ya AFM (why bother upgrading to a Z32 afm??) by using the EMS, you can eliminate the intake air-flow's parameter in it's mapping so you can have an intake pipe from the air filter to the turbo as big as u want it in diameter without any restrictions such as the size of the AFM.

  13. The EMS is a stand-alone fuel system therefore one advantage is that u can do away with an AFM (air flow meter) as some people consider it as an 'bottleneck', my mates R31 (RB30DET ie RB26 head !) runs an EMS and he's achieved 210rwkw on the dyno just to say what they are capable of. Now, the RB30ET from the VL Calais was originally released with a T28 or T3 if my memory serves me correctly so it would be a hi-flowed version of either one of these but I am 110% sure that the RB30ET did NOT come out with a T4. Hope that helped.

  14. Even if ya car was dynoed with 98, running 95 isn't really that bad, u can notice it but it should be okay if u dont boost it right out every gear. I dont think using 95 would be anywhere as bad as pumping 91 (normal unleaded) into ya RB. Now I have a question with the mixing ratio as stated by BP's website (Sydneykid), It states not to go over 30%, now is that by weight or volume? anybody? As we all know, if it was water then 1 kg = 1 litre but for other chemicals / liquids that ratio is different. Also, does anyone have an idea of what the capacity of the fuel tank in a '97 R33 GTST is?

  15. It takes 24hrs to reset a RB series ecu. I did that with both of my '97 R33 and '88 VL and they both seem to be quite good afterwards. The reason for unpluggin ya battery for 24hrs is so that the ECU gets cleaned out of old habits, some mechanics even says that the RB ecu are too smart for their good and learns to mis-behave after a while, especially when ya AFM or O2 sensors starts to play up. So this is a good procedure after installing a new AFM or O2 sensor.

  16. After checking with the chemist dude from work, the Toluene from my work is 'pure' as it's used as an ingredience in the production of paint. Octane Boosters from some companies might be mixed with other chemical additives therefore explaining the brown (or whatever color) deposits some ppl finds on their plug tips etc. Should start sellin' the shit.....tsk tsk tsk...

  17. Hey guys, this is not 'bout my '33 but rather my daily driven '88 VL, it's the N/A exec series II, I'm just givin' it the once-over and I need the spark plug gap spec for the RB30E (NON TURBO). Appreciate it if anyone can help. Cheers.

  18. Thats just too bad dude, Im not being a smartass but Im right now in the process of sorting out my finances for my R33 GTR cause my 97 series II GTST was also pinched. Face it mate, it's gone.

Tell u guys a story thou, I had a mate whose cousin used to own a very nice Rexy, its a gold '99 with a big EMS logo on the sides of it (Im sure u guys know the car, a regular at the drags at Syd). It was stolen but the people that took it had the guts to blackmail the owner for money, so the owner paid the money and also paid to have those peoples heads taken off. Not so fair deal but it was damn worth it.

Anyways, Good luck in finding it.
