Hey mate, I'm not sure what you get in that package but for me they are doing the following: Koni shox/coilovers (no springs) and alignment and a few miscellaneous bits nd pieces all up for $1,500 labour included. Yet he did mention that for the Pedders sport pack it's around $550 per corner so i think it's still maybe a little high. Just my thoughts.

  3. i didn't think whiteline made a kit for the r32? what do they price the kit at?? Because i got qouted $1,500 for the lot (Coilovers + Strut tops + Install - Alignment etc)
  4. Hi all, I'm in the market for some new coil overs as my current ones are not in the best of shape. I have been told that a koni adjustable (not height) with my current Apexi springs will be the go. What i want to know is what setups have other r32 drivers got and what do they thinkl of them?? Lets hear some feedback.

  6. Hey guys nd ladies, I've heard Yokohama V102's are the shit wet and dry. But apparentley they are noisy -- Not that that makes two sh%ts of a difference when your 6 inch muffler is a full song:)
  7. Hi All, Just a quick question..... When you shut your cars off, can you hear the turbo winding down if the bonnet is up and your out of the car?? :Bang: If this is abnormal am i looking at a new turbo i already have a VG30?? Cheers, :headspin:
  8. O i see, Because mine has also been chipped and it is set to 8,000rpm yet i don't want to do any damage to the car. I also have a slightly bigger turbo so the power doesn't wash off. It just pulls like a train all the way to redline
  9. Thanks Sydneykid. So would it be safe to assume that 8,000rpm would be a suitable place to change at? Also the RB20 revs alot higher than the RB25 that stops at 7,1000-7,2000??? Would that be right?

  11. Hi guys and girls, Just need to know what the standard rev limiter is for an RB20DET :wassup: . As i have been told 2 different things. One mechanic told me it was 7,850rpm while the other told me 7,100rpm. :bs!: Any help on this would be great. Thanks people.

  13. Hey, I had this porb when i first got my car. It may be your cold idle sensor is closed constantly. Because what normally happens is when the car is cold the sensor opens up and makes the car think the throttle is open a little bit. Thats why you'll usually idle at 1,400 rpm or there abouts. Yet yours may be constantly closed which would explain why its fine when it warms up. You can get a new idle sensor for like $50 i know a guy if you need help. Hope you can understand my poor technology explanation
  14. I have the most annoying noise at the moment. It sounds like a squeeking/bearing noise. The noise stops if i push the clutch even the slightest bit!!!! Thats great yet i dont want to drive with my clutch in! I've been told i can spray some WD40 to shut it up but where would i spray it!!! Please help as its driving me up the wall.

  18. It was dynoed by Dr Drift at XTC in Croyden. Yep it's a GARRETT A/R 60 Housing. Thats all i can see though. And it does make some boost but not much before 5,000rpm (around .3bar at 4,000rpm) But it's laggy as all hell below that. The other mods are: - Full Exhaust - Pod filter and thats it for the engine I think it was a mountain racer in Japan as it has fully adjustable susp with apexi springs and a GTR bonnet (carbon fibre) Any ideas on what sort it is if its not a VG30???

Hi All, I've just picked up my R32GTS-t fresh off the boat from Japan :wassup: Very happy, it's just been dyno tuned and had the once over engine flush etc. It's running sweet now and i just want to know what turbo is on it my mechanic says its a VG30 from the power it puts out and when it puts it out i.e. no response below 5,000rpm . Anyways just wanted to know if anyone knows much about these turbos. what theyre capable of etc. It has 165rwkw on .8bar of boost. any help or knowledge would be great.
  20. Well if it helps i enquired bout a single plate heavy duty Excedy clutch and it was $650. So i'm assuming it'd be a little more for a twin plate, but thats just my guess. Hope that helps.
  21. Thanks guys and as for Pirelli i meant Rosso's not corsa's. I have just talked to a mate who has Rosso's said they stuck like S**T to a blanket wet & dry. Haven't talked to anyone with Falkens yet though. Thanks again
  22. Hi everyone, Just a quick question. I'm looking at getting a set of Pirelli P Zero Rosso's for my GTS-t (165 rwkw). I want them for hard street driving (no burnouts) as thats what the car is set up for. Just wondering if anyone has used them and could tell me how long they last and how they perform? Also if anyone know if Falken Azensis would be a better choice? Any help on this would be great.
