  1. some sort of clutch maybe?
  2. Lol, yeah I reckon!
  3. Well I'm sure not EVERONE has seen it huh! :shake:
  4. Yeah they look like a nice kit. I'm in Melbourne.
  5. Ok just got off the phone then and was told R34's are a pain in the arse to fit coolers in and I'd be looking at about $700 for pipes and fitting. Thats going over the engine too! so $1400, same price as a HKS cooler BUT it is already fitted for that price I guess. Hmmmm Decesions decesions.....
  6. Uh huh.........super.....charger! Nice way to cut that lag out!
  7. Need I say more? I think not..... :burnout:
  8. now thats cool! free bump!
  9. Ditto
  10. Ok look at it this way. GTR cooler $700 plus fitting and pipes $400 round about = $1100. HKS Type-S with pipes to stock to stock position is $1400 and can be self installed. It's damn close.
  11. I know what you mean. Has anyone had a GTR cooler fitted? What sort of money did you pay for pipes and fitting?
  12. Well said...
  13. Yeah says on the HKS website those intercoolers are good for 184 - 320KW. Thats heaps! I'm not looking for any crazy power. I just want a nice drivable but punchy street car.
  14. Yeah I think that might have to do with "Who" is driving the car
  15. Hey thats what it reckons. Go to Takakaira and have a look, thats where I found it.
  16. I guess it all depends on how muchg boost I'll be running etc. Should be fine for a 2530 or 2540 yeah? What sort of power are these turbo's good for?
  17. Yeah I was gonna consider one but do you think I can find a frekin place that seel them? And yes I've checked the main suppliers. Maybe I'm just blind, lol.
  18. OK found it. This is a direct copy from the site "ORIGINAL MOUNT DIRECT REPLACEMENT TYPE="No modifications necessary to install" HKS "Original Mount Intercooler Kit" fits into the original location & mountings of the factory intercooler. No modifications required on factory piping & air duct. Provides optimum cooling efficiency" WHO ROCKS! lol
  19. HKS Type-S for a R34 GT-T plumbs back under the cooler to the original pipes. Thats why I want one, stuff going over the engine bay. You can buy a HKS upgrade kit for the rest of the pipes worth about $800-$900. Check it out for yourself at: - http://www.pbase.com/franks/07dec02_fmic_i..._install&page=1 (Thanks to Franks for that one, legend!) As far as I know on the R33's they flow over the engine bay.
  20. I'd just prefer a kit with the pipes ready to fit. I like the HKS Type-s. Seems like a good cooler and I know the piping feeds back to the stock position. I figure I'll just sell the cooler for $650 and get rid of it quick.
  21. Anytime on the weekend, easy.
  22. Yeah it is HKS. I've seen it a web site, It's for an R34. It's called an Original mount or sumthing I think. I MAY be wrong though.
