  6. I have just removed the a Blitz SBC ID 2 boost controller from my car before I sell it. Looking for $450 for the unit with everything needed for installation incluing english instructions! This unit uses a big dual solenoid and is one of the best boost controllers on the market! I have run several different turbo and wastegate setups on my s14 and it has always held a perfectly flat boost curve. The Blitz units are very simple to use with 4 different boost channels as well as wastegate! If you are after pictures, you can pm me your email address and I will send them through! Regards, Chris
  7. Hi Guys, I have a full set of R33 GTST direct replacement 850cc power enterprise injectors which have only been used for 3 weeks before I pulled them out of the car to sell it.   8. Hi Guys, I am selling a few bits a pieces off my 200sx, before I pass it on and the personalised plates are up for grabs! The plates are in good condition and are white with black writing! The plates are slim line front and USA style rear and don't have a dash seperating the letters and the numbers! They read CAN90 or CAN GO for those without an imagination!   9. I have a near new Trust Type R BOV with the normal spring for sale. It's coming off my s14 as I'm stripping the car and selling it and the BOV is pretty much new as it's only been on there for about 7000km! The BOV came as part of a kit for a GTR, so it comes with brackets, silicon adaptor, cast elbow ect. to bolt stright up to a GTR. pm me if you are interested, $350 for the lot! Pick up available in Brisbane or I can ship any where!
  10. I am selling the personalised plate of my 200sx. They are white and black in good condition! The front is slim line and the rear plate is USA style! The plate reads CAN90, CAN GO for those who are a little slow!! $600 and they are your's This is a pretty good price I think as these plates are getting more and more expensive and there really aren't that many good choices out there any more!! Hi guys, I have stripped alot of parts off my s14a 200sx to sell it and i have a Trust type r BOV to sell. i actually bought it as a GTR kit, so I have a box of unused brackets, silicon joiners, cast pipes and billet block off which are part of the kit. the BOV has only been used for 7000km and it's in perfect condition. looking for $350 for the lot!!   12. Well guys, the time has come to advertise my s14a 200sx. It's going to be very sad to see her go but it's time to move on and look at buying a house!! The photo's were taken in december and it's due to be featured in Hot 4's early this year. http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/priva...|1&trecs=29 The car has a huge list of mods and you won't find too many cars around that have as much work to so many areas of the car. The motor has been built with the same Bottom end as the Mercury Motorsport s13 which makes over 420rwkw with no gas, so it can really take some pumishment. As I work for Mercury as well the car has had all the best parts tested on it and you can be sure that the current combo works well as many hours of fine tuning have been spent on the dyno and the street. The car can be used a s a daily driver as it still has AC but it's equally at home on the track! It could also have the interior stripped out of it and be used as a dedicated circuit/drift car. Here is a list of most of the mods. The car currently makes 280rwkw on 22psi with 98 ron pump fuel and 314rwkw on 25psi with race fuel. I have since changed the ignition system to split fires and opened the plug gaps up a bit as I was having ignition problems. The car will be going on the dyno on the next few weeks for a final tune and I will be looking for 300rwkw on pump fuel. Full boost (22psi) is achieved at 4050 rpm so the car is far from laggy and it's actually better to drive with this setup then it was with the HKS GTRS which was previously on the car Engine Internal: Trust baffled sump sump, standard crank balanced, shoot peened and lanished, ACL race bearings, , ARP main studs, Eagle rods, JE pistons, total seal gapless rings, high flow oil pump, Nismo 1.2 metal head gasket, ARP head studs, ported and polished cylinder head, standard valves with 3 way valve cut, brand new genuine valve stem seals and guides, HKS Step 2 256/264 cams, HKS valve springs, HKS adjustable cam gears, HKS RAS kit The block has also been re-sleeved with darton cylinder liners.   14. Glad your not trying to bag any work shops as this problem was definatly not the work shops fault. I don't understand how you can drive away with dyno graphs and a car that runs fine and then when it starts playing up you blame the tune, it just doesn't work this way. if there is something mechanically wrong with the car, no amount of tuning is going to fix it. For those of you who are reading the thread, someone had been playing with the hand controller and had selected the "nismo option" AFM instead of the normal r33 GTST one, which caused the car to run like a piece of crap. With a new set of plugs and the correct AFM selected the car now runs fine again but the turbo is definatly on the way out as it's a little noisy (as was explained to the customer when he picked up the car). It's very frustrating when you go out of your way to look after the customer and pay for the tow truck back to the work shop and it's due to someone playing around with things they don't know about. At least the car is running well again now which is the main thing I guess!!!

  16. As above, I have a power fc and hand controler, Trust inlet Y pipe with silicon joiners, 2 x z32 AFM's and 2 x K & N filters. This set up has come off a GTR making over 600hp at the wheels and is all in perfect condition. Looking for $1700 for the lot and not really willing to sell seperatly. Pm me if you are interested.
  17. ^^ I can say from experience in my own car as well as several others. Never ever use it on a new motor!! I used run in oil for 500km, then multigrade for 2500km and then put 4100 in the car and it started using heaps of oil. I know of quite a few people with built engines who have had the same problem

When you put your head in the engine bay you need to be wearing ear muffs other wise your kidding yourself. the head phones are good as well but you can pick up other noises which aren't detonation so it comes down to the operator. My point is that just because a work shop uses someone to listen for detonation doesn't mean it's dodgy. You are right about it being easier to hear detonation when you are away from the car but it doesn't work with every car. It depends on ho lound they are ect!!
  19. Mate, listening with your head under the bonnet is probably the best way to tell if a car is detonating. You can hear it clear as day when you have some ear muffs on, so I don't know why you think it's dodgy. Why would a work shop use the labour of two people instead of one person with head phones on if it was dodgy?? think about it.

  21. Hi Guys, I have a OS giken twin plate to suit RB engines. I was originally going to swap the flywheel with a mate so the clutch would fit my s14 but i'm just going to stick with the single plate now, so the twin plate is for sale.
