  1. You can probably break everything and any point that's true. But with the "precautions" of building the entire engine and everything around it and with a solid tune I wouldn't expect that to happen right of the bat. 😛
  2. Mainly being afraid of breaking something on something i've poured so much money into haha
  3. Confirmed, the block was checked for cracks and was found healthy.
  4. I shouldve mentioned that the engine is near being complete. I double checked with my mechanic but im pretty sure the machine shop did all the nessecary checks on the block. i also won’t be driving on 800 all the doing doong pulls. Mainly be driving and cruising with friends on low boost maps occasionally opening everything it’s got.
  5. Aye, everything is being touched and all the parts that are responsible for the oiling issues are also fixed. (Crank collar, billet prp oil pump, head return to sump, yada yada yada) Everything used is of reputable brands like greddy, prp etc. My tuner did mention we’d keep the torque on the “lower” side. glad to read that my engine won’t blow up on me lmao
  6. Hiya guys, i’m currently in the process of getting my rb26 built. everything is being replaced with better/upgraded parts or oem when that’s good enough (which isn’t alot lol). someone earlier mentioned to me that i’ll be screwed cause the iron block can’t take 800hp (to the engine, not wheels) which is what it’s being built for. what do you guys think about this, am I cooked or na? The guy building the engine will also do the mapping as he is “the guru of old nissan engines” here in Belgium. I know the mapping makes a huge deal so i’m not concerned about that. I honestly he’s talking shit cause he’s that kinda guy but a second opinion never hurt anyone! cheers in advance! 🫶🏻
  7. Hope you had a great time here in our tiny country. The JDM scene we have here is quite small, it's mostly BMW, Volkswagen with burble tunes haha. But the few JDM cars we do have in the scene are pretty nice. Some of my friends drive cool s14's too. Both built engines, red one makes abt 500, blue one abt 400 i think?
  8. Hi Andrew! I'm new on this forum and i'm delighted to see someone else with a high horsepower r32 gtst! I've gone through most of your journey and i'm super impressed with all the work you've done! I've got many question since i'm chasing something similar in my GTST!
  9. That's crazy helpful! i'll be ordering both the poly bushings and the weld in kit. In Belgium the technical inspection can be ever more difficult than TUV, but with oldtimers (30+years old) they allow more so it should be ok I think, i'll check with some friends who work there. regarding the FUCA, RUCA & tension rods, i've been learning alot about all the suspension components for my driftcar, but I should probably invest some time in how they should be set up for a grip car instead of the opposite. 😛
  10. Thankyou! I'll add a pic of my Z for good measure! 😛
  11. I went through the Gktech catalog but can't seem to find the kit you were talking about, do you have a link perhaps?
  12. R32 pics Not sure if you can upload pics directly, but i've added them through an imgur link above.
  13. Love the input man! Defo gonna check it out
  14. Hello, My name if Frederick, i'm 30 years old and I live in Belgium, Europe! I used to have a Nissan 370z daily but since I got a company car I turned that into my seattime driftcar. About 3 years ago I also wanted something older with more feel, so I got an R32 GTST with an rb26 engine. I am now getting the rb built to have around 800hp and it's close to being finished. I'm very excited for how it will drive and how driveable it will be! Regards, Fred!
