i'll be up for my car getting tinted in the next couple of weeks.... It's in pieces though, so they got to come to me or I bring the glass to them!

I'm interested in how to fix this as well. They have pulled all the windows out of my r32, and I need new seals all round. They were all split at the rear and some rust has started... You would think that there would be an aftermarket rubber seal for these... And they smashed the front windscreen so I need a new front windscreen with inbuilt aerial preferably :-(

A mate of mine definitely did this to his skyline on the standard discs. He got them slotted and from memory it was around $40 a disc. Before you ask I've got no idea where!

I'm after an R32 gtr bonnet or carbon fibre one. Must be in Melbourne as I have to see it before I buy it. Also a set of Tyres to suit R32 GTR wheels and a steering wheel...

My thoughts is it's all a learning curve, and you learnt the easy way with no-one injured or dead. I lost almost 15k from lending my 33 to an ex gf. who wrote it off going 60 around a corner in the wet. It wasn't fast but road was damp and she wasn't used to the car. I never got a cent from her, never again will someone drive my car with no insurance. If it's fixable, post up some pics for all of us and maybe we can help with parts, workshops and advice...

Dropped the car off there this arvo - Gary seemed like an alright bloke. He discussed everything with me and said it will be ready in 5 days... Saw your grey R32 in there - he showed me the side intrusion bars he'd put in yours - looks like a good job :-)

he he - this is the catch... you say you could have bought a GTR but you still got to fix that one too. it'll cost twice as much as a gts-t to get on the road.

oh believe me - the seller of the car has a big black mark to his name now... but there's basically not much else you can do. The car was transported straight to a shipping yard when I bought it, to await export. I had to buy this car before it could be inspected anyway, and why pay someone to inspect it when you already own it? In the end it just needs some TLC, but it wasn't what I was expecting.

It was through prestige motorsport BUT it was a yahoo auction car I think - so prestige had no idea of the real condition of it...

not really on my own topic but here is the old coolant and some seriously fouled HKS plugs I pulled out today. I don't know how the car was even running...

yeah as I said it looks great in pictures, but not so good close up.... It's cost me just over $10k so far. Sounds like not much, but add on road costs, compliance, insurance, alarm, tyres, and it's around $14k here's a couple of pics of the crappy paint...
