  1. my r33 has always run perfect, but a few months back i changed a coil pack as it was buggered (the car idled like it had a v8 in it) so after putting in new coil packs and changing the spark plugs things were fine.

no i have a slight hicup at around 4800-5500 but the thing is its not always. 99% of the times it drives without an issue, but late at night when its cool weather it feels like it pops between that range and then recovers real quick.

    mods are:

    FMIC

    10PSI

    HIFLOW cat

    3"exhuast.

any ideas, my guess is the stock fuel pump

  2. Do you go at night?

i go after work and never had an issue, ive even been there at times when the ppl who own the joint are there and only once they asked me to move my car as someone was waiting for the bay to wash there car.

but if they question it just tell them ur using the water to rinse the car and wax it (even if its a lie) and u just prefer to wash by hand as the brush scratches ur paint, and when saying that they have let me do it.

i'll get pics of my car when i hand washed it and waxed it and how smooth the paint is....and ill post a pic of my car at a car wash with the brush and u can see freakin scratch lines really fine in the paint and its dead obvious if u look at the car in the sun... i dont car what no car wash attendent says it does scratch!

  3. They make you pay 15 bucks for hand wash at my local car wash... f**k that.

Ill use mr crusts tips... haha! Im gonna sneak in and wash my car after 11 pm when there is no one there but Mr kebab man!

 and you are allowed to use buckets at 99% of car washs so long as its on a wkday , as most dont allow it on wkends as they are busy. i always do it and never had a drama

  4. TIP: if your going to wash it at a car wash go there and put $1 in and rinse the car and fill up a bucket then grab sponge and wash ur car by hand (as you are allowed to do this only mon-frid) then put in another dollar and rinse of all the soap then give it a chamois..

those brushes leave scratch marks all over the paint, and within months you will notice your paint looks like rubbish.

  5. honestly that price sounds about right. i actually purchased my car from power rd exactly 1 year ago and its a 96 gts-t s2 and he gave me rego, stamp duty, 3 months warranty and full exhaust system, changed the stereo headunit from the JAP one to a sony one as i said i love music, and i got it for just under 16k.

as for the cars shane knows them inside out, his a top bloke and knows what his talking about.

and to explain how good the warranty is, my timing belt snapped off after only a month and bent the valves etc, and he done the top end rebuild no questions asked, so definitly a top place.

  6. i got done for the same thing, male driver in a red coupe (my honda) throwing a drink container out of the car.

this was complete rubbish , yes i was in the area but i had a cinema ticket at the time of the incident , so i couldnt have been there..also in my case they claimed it was 7pm , but as it wasnt daylight savings and heavy rain how can they report it from 200m away.

so with that in mind i went to court over it and after the first meeting sort of thing they told me my case is goign to be pushed back 9months and it started doing my head in as i was 18 at the time.

but unless they have photo or video evidence u will get done, but if its your word against there's it will just get kicked out out of court.

also the witness name is at the bottom of the slip they sent you, and if you go to court they must be present (good time to see there face and follow them home) in my case it was a council worker and when the case went to court for just the hearing he didnt turn up as he quite the council ...and when i rang the council they told me he went on a 2wk holiday, so they f**king shafted me bad...dirty liers

so instead of waiting 9 months for the 2nd hearing, i went to pay the $215, then i get told its $260 when i asked why they explain becuase i went to court and everyday the fine hasnt been paid up until the day of the case i have to pay a dollar per day...

my day of revenge will come bill s.....

  7. a few months back i was coming out of the docklands and over the bridge near spencer street station..i was rolling at 40k's and then planted it to 7,000rpm and cccchhhuuuuuuu...next thing i see 3 coppers turn there heads and look at me smiling ..

thank god i got nothing but a smile from them

  8. bootr33.jpg

here is a pic of what i done last nite. I pulled out the floor carpet and back wall from the boot.

Then i off-centred the amp, so in case i need to get to the battery i still can. Next up there is a braket right in the middle of the boot, infront of the fuse box which i used to mount one side of the mdf board.

on the right hand side of the boot there are the 2 clips which hold the back wall up, the bottom one of them has a metal bracket which i used to mount the other side of the baord.

Then i put the carpet wall back up and mount the amp / fuse , now i gotta get it wired up when i get a chance later this week.

  9. im looking at putting my amp on that plastic back wall in the boot, but i found their is a bracket behind there so i might put an mdf board the same size as the amp behind the wall and screw into it ..

ill post pics in the next wk or 2 when i finish of my install

  10. with all new fines that come in the mail by law now it must have a photo of the license plate clear , and also a zoomed out version showing the full car ..but like all things they can tamper with the pics, just hope it doesnt turn up
