i have an 80mm (3") apeix evc installed. it requires u to drill a hole at ur rear seat foot rest. it works well when accellerating and cruising at 60-100kmh. takes out alot of the drone.. and the flap is located just after the cat tuyen
  16. at the back of the boost gauge (im thinkin the other gauges would have it too) a small switch which u can either select 'on' or 'ec' or something... anyone have the manual and know what this is for?
  17. cheers heaps u wouldnt happen to have access to an online manual for the db chrono/rs boost gauge would u? theres 2 buttons at the top of the gauge, but have no idea how to use them
  18. i purchased a hks rs db electrical meter boost gauge which also comes with a central control unit.. there are 4 wires: black white orange red i was wondering if anyone has same controlbox/gauges and could tell me which wire is which.. and where would be best place to connect the wire to. i know black is ground.. white orange and red are all fused.. any help would be muchly appreciated. ive tried googling with no luck. hksusa website has nothing. and i cant understand the hks japan website. cheers in advance tuyen
  19. wat the hell so cheap for genuine rays if only u were in perth...
  20. yeh just took some then in comparsion to safc2 sorry for whoring your thread PAV34. ive driven stock r34 gtt and id say getting a powerfc wont make power delivery any smoother. Trust me they are damn smooth already! (try driving r32 with rb20det haha) The main difference with powerfc to afc neo is that pfc can adjust ignition timing as well adjusting airflow for fuel while afc neo can only do fuel. While running stock boost, adjusting ignition is not needed. But adjusting airflow would help (a bit more power = a bit more smoother?) as u have an airfilter and full turbo back exhaust which would usually cause it run a tad rich.. 400km a tank is decent.. u should look into replacing the o2 sensor of the car if you havnt already. Should be replacing them every 40,000km apparently in the skyline manual. good luck
  21. i believe he stated on his initial post that he already has a full exhaust... anyway, with just those basic mods u have, a afc neo will do fine! the cost difference of a powerfc and tuning it doesnt seem worth it. powerfc $1000 + install & tune $500 = $1500 afc neo $500 + install & tune $100 = $600 $900 difference for say a max of 5-10hp gain? u decide if its worth it.. plus afc neo looks damn sexy with the colour screen! i have one myself
  22. very good combo.. u will be happy BATMBL dump/front pipes and cats are very high quality and allow for max flow!
