The car is still in Japan, but I have paid for it. The compliance will be done by the workshop at Imports101, so he probably dosen't know. All this when I thought it would be quite hassle free, but it better I am finding this out now!

Shit, thanks for that drift, definately going to get in touch with Danny about that. That site also says it is on hold, if that seller has farked me around I will be completely pissed off. Could be because I have paid for it already, but I will have to try & see what can be done now. :bs!:

1995 Nissan Skyline Gts-t from the stocklist. Will cost just under $17,000 on road. The seller took 10,000yen from the price because the windscreen needs replacing though. I spoke to Danny and he said the compliance would take only a couple of days, it's more waiting for the compliance plate. The time for compliance will depend on how many they have to do, but at the moment he said there may be mine and a couple of others. At least it shows the cops are doing their jobs. In the car I have now I admit I do speed (been 200kph on the way to work once, 3:30am, about 180kph twice, and a few more in that general area.....). I have never been caught, but I don't do that any more. Once when I was running late I was doing about 140kph (early morning on the Mitchell freeway, cars are rare!!!), and went past a van & a fairly new Falcon wagon. Down the road a bit I noticed headlights moving quite quickly in the right hand lane, and had a look & it was this wagon. We were coming up to a Monaro, so decided to just slow it down past him, just in case. After that I thought he would just sod off, but instead sped past again. Considering I was running late for work, it would have seemed like I was chasing him, but TBH I didn't give a crap about him. Pulled about level at 170, and when he gave it a bit more I thought enough was enough. So then I just planted it, went past him, watched his lights go further & further back while I hit 200kph+ & that was that. Not bad for a magna. I feel sorry for a poor girl in a Corolla, we went either side of her at these speeds & probably scared the crap out of her. FYI I got to work 5mins early. Starting at 4, left at about 3:35 and it usually takes half an hour. I don't do that shit anymore, starting at 6am most of the time there is no way I would even bother. Plain stupidity really.

Hi guys, will have my car (95' series 1) on the road in about 5 weeks, and I am not looking to get a kit straight away but it is something I am looking into doing later. Otherwise it will just be a sleeper (cept rims). I was just wondering about locations & prices for side-skirts & rear bar. I have already seen a front bar I can get for $800 fitted & painted which is very nice, but that is if I am going for a very agressive (therefore expensive) look. Just hoping someone could give me a rough estimate of prices for these parts (and whether fitted or not), and where it can be done. Much appreciated.

Hi guys, first post. At the moment I am going through Danny@Imports101, and my car is booked on the next ship, and will arrive on the 5th of March, and should be on the road a week or two afterwards. As for as importing goes, if you are willing to wait for the right car (weeks, months) then it is definately going to save you money if you get lucky. I can see some brokers screwing you over, just make sure it is a registered business & not some guy working out of his lounge room.
