  2. Hi ppl just fitted a hi flow journal bearing and going to purchase a speed flow braided oil feed line What size is recommended for the orifice diameter in the oil feed line? also what hose should i get eg.. -3 -4 or -6 ?

  5. thanks cubes 1 more question what if i wanted to add more boost such as 13psi max would there be enough oil flow for the turbo with all these restrictors?
  6. dont you mean oil restrictor on the oil feed line at the block end(factory oil feed line) and a restrictor on one of the banjo bolts.
  7. hi ppl im putting back the stock turbo back on can someone tell me if the banjo bolt for the turbo oil feed line has got a restrictor also has the oil feed line got a oil restrictor at the block end and does the banjo bolt restrictor go back on the turbo side.thanks

  12. r33 god i dont really want to start this thread to get out of hand,i spose your still pissed off,im not happy myself who knows were the other pieces of turbo have gone thats the main thing im worried about,but im gonna get the turbo checked out first to see what has failed,might be oil starvation even though i sent my oil line to drill out the restrictor. BAMR33 i think your right i should of gone in earlier as my friends has got 250rkw and daily driver and no sign of trouble i waited for my turbo for 3 months i paid in the end dec and got it in march

  15. could be oil starvation i havent taken then turbo off so i dont know yet,with hot shut down which i never do as my timer is timed for 3 minutes and i change my oil every 5000km.
  16. ok not bagging the turbo i loved it,please explain what has happened then,nothing has gone through the compressor side as i have standard air box also what ever enters the airbox has to pass the afm
  17. ok ppl time to close this thread did some searching on this turbo, seems most the ppl have had the similar problem with this hiflow,as they werent balanced properly which in time result of the wheel becoming unbalanced and then killing the cartridge itself(which explains my massive shaft play).may have been a small mis balance. i spose the balance issue will become bigger and then one day bang.not happy at all.

  19. ok if its another slide one someone should know why this is happening, i dont thinks a foreign object,maybe could be bush bearing failing?

Hi ppl i have taken some pics of the turbo i have only checked the compressor side so far the turbo is a slide hiflow stage 3 on a r33 on 15 psi its only been on the car for a year and a bit and properly tuned and only driven on the weekends also it also has alot of play as is shaft is bent what has caused this??
