We will be running the Driftorama circuit for the first 2 hours and for the remaining 2 hours we will run the turn 2-dipper track layout and the turn 3-6 track layout. For those that don’t know, these are the track layouts: The cost will be $120 per person; if you wish to have a second driver of your vehicle it will be $70. All payments must be in by Monday the 23rd of February. Preferred method of payment will be via direct debit or paid in cash to me. No refunds will be given unless the day is called off, however you can sell your spot to someone else if something goes wrong but it is your responsibility to do so and you need to let me know who is taking your spot before the day. In the odd case where a bank transfer or prior cash payment is not possible I may be able to organise payment on the day. Account Name: Steven James Lewis BSB: 06 2692 Account Number: 1024 2923 Bank: Commonwealth With each money transfer in the description please put your name and phone number. After you have transferred the entry fee please send me an E-mail at slewis_88@hotmail.com. The E-mail should contain the following: Your Name, Phone Number, E-mail Address, What car you will be driving and Colour of Car. Other costs you should be aware of on the day are: - You must hold an AASA licence; it is either $20 for the day licence of $55 for the yearly licence (this is available at the race office on the day). - If you need a helmet for the day QR has some available and they are only $5 to hire for the day. There will be a barbecue afterwards (from 12:30pm) on the grassed area next to the canteen or in the pit bays provided there is no afternoon booking and its for all drivers, friends and spectators, $1 for a can of soft drink and $1 for a sausage on bread. Make sure you come and have a chat and get to know everyone, the last one seemed to go well. On the last day I held, the majority of the drivers ran out of tyres well before the end of the session so make sure you come prepared with plenty of tyres. The future dates booked in are: 14th of April 3rd of June 21st of July 29th of September **Note all of these dates are Tuesdays or Wednesdays and may change** If you have any questions can you please PM me and I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Cheers, Steven Lewis
  3. I will accept payment on arrival in the morning guys, just need some more numbers, so come out and have some fun.
  4. I need to fill a few more spots guys so if your interested let me know asap and put your entry in. Cheers, Steve.
  5. At the moment the best entry level one I would buy to learn with would be a 450D Canon. Can get heaps of lens' of varying quality to fit them also (Tamron, Sigma & Canon etc.). Im a Canon boy, have used a Nikon D60x & didn't really like it. Panning shots with it were difficult and when using VR in one of the lens' It made like a kaleidoscope effect with 3 cars in the pic. This could have been my error but has affected my view on Nikon. I now use a Canon 40D and absolutely love it. Hope to move onto a 1D soon however.
  6. Ok i have bank details ready for entries: Account Name: Steven James Lewis BSB: 06 2692 Account Number: 1024 2923 Bank: Commonwealth Price of Entry is $120. With each money transfer in the description please put your name and phone number. After you have transferred the entry fee please send me an email at slewis_88@hotmail.com. The email should contain the following: Your Name, Phone Number, Email Address, What car you will be driving, and Colour of Car. And feel free to ask me any questions you have in the email. (This is make it easier for all of us for future days as this information will be stored away and used for the rest of the track days, and i intend on starting up a mailing list so you guys will be the first to recieve information on up coming days.) PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE BY THE 4TH OF JANUARY! DONT MISS OUT. If you are unable to do a bank transfer pm me and we can try and work out another method of payment. Cheers, Steve.
  7. These days are designed for people wanting to have a go at drifting, its a morning of drifting, no competition, just a day to hone your skills and have fun. There will be ample space between you and other cars on the track and if your really worried let the marshall running the start line know and they can give you more of a gap. Cheers, Steve.
  8. Yeah $120 per day mate, prices in future may go down if i find i have enough consistent interest. At the moment im thnking 50 will be my max, i dont know how well i will go at getting that many people anyway. Theres normally 70-80 guys on tack on a friday night so its definately better than that. The guys ive got helping me run the day have done it before and some work most friday night practices so it should run smoothly.
  9. Also forgot to mention that passengers will be allowed. I will try and get some bank details together in the next day or two so entries can start coming in.
  10. Distortion can be a good thing if used right... I don't mind the distortion. Neil
  11. Tuesday Morning Drift Sessions @ Queensland Raceway Next year, in 2009 I have organised a number of Tuesday Morning Drift Sessions and currently have 5 dates booked in throughout the year roughly 1-3 months apart from each other. The first of which is on Tuesday the 13th of January 2009. Gates open at 7:30 and we will be on track from 8am and finished up by 12pm, with all pit bays empty by 12:30pm in time for the afternoon session. We will be running the Driftorama circuit for the first 2 hours and for the remaining 2 hours we will run the turn 2-dipper track layout and the turn 3-6 track layout. The cost will be $120 per person, and I have chosen to employ the services of the track paramedic if needed for the morning and will have tow cars on hand also. All payments must be in by Sunday the 4th of January. Please PM me for bank details and any other information please. Method of payment will be via direct debit or paid in cash to me. No refunds will be given unless the day is called off, however you can sell your spot to someone else if something goes wrong but it is your responsibility to do so and you need to let me know who is taking your spot before the day. There will be a barbecue afterwards (from 12:30pm) on the grassed area next to the canteen for all drivers, friends and spectators, $1 for a can of soft drink and $1 for a sausage on bread. Make sure you come and have a chat and get to know everyone. 12. price is negotiable, send me a offer Neil
  13. 25ish if i remember correctly. Neil
  14. Chassis has done 133XXX km's. I dont think car has had the clock turned back upon import, as the condition of it leads it to have that many k's at the most. Im willing to send interstate if the buyer organises the transport. Not looking for swaps of any kind as I have a car lined up already. Neil
  15. To be totally honest I have never dyno'd the car, so I don't know. there are people running stock motors with similar mods making near on 200rwkw so I'd say that is possible with a proper tune. However the car is a turbo, injectors and ecu away from big big power for someone that wishes to. Neil
  16. Hey Guys, Time has come to sell the car, moving on to much nicer things hopefully. Details are as follows - 1998 Series 2 R33 - Silver - Looking for $16000 Engine Forged Rebuild (have reciepts) Blitz FMIC & Pod 3" Nismo cat back Exhaust (very quiet), 3" split dump/front Blitz Dual SBC Boost controller (runs about 10psi) Apexi SAFC II Turbosmart BOV Inside Greddy Turbo Timer Dildo Gear Knob Blitz Boost Guage Outside Factory Aero (skirts & rear aprons) Volk GT-P 17x9 front and rear. Good offset... Suspension Cusco Camber Arms Cusco Traction Rods G4 Coilovers (8kg front, 6kg rear) Basically a nice all round street car, but would be very capable at circuit work or drifting. 18. I think something has been missed?
  19. Thanks for the response. Its a great photo always wanted to have a go at doing it myself. Neil
  20. A bit off topic, but I have a question for you guys. How do you guys get photos such as the moving MPS photos on wilch's site (the photo of the car driving in a car park). Theres no suction arms being used, is it simply a low shutter rate panning shot or do you have some special device to take these? I have taken suction shots before but always wondered how you manage to get whole car shots. Hope Im making some sense, Neil
  21. Hey All, Here is few Pictures I took of my mates R34 4 Door, Neil
