  1. Haha cheers Brad - I'm actually from the Gold Coast. Those guys are just up the road from where I lived (bit of an exageration). They are pretty good. Was hoping for someone more local though.
  2. Well... seems this time trying to go the cheaper option kicked me in the ass. Bought a set of JIC coilovers from the For Sale section - from a f*#** called R324doors. Front set have some serious damper issues - and are in need of a rebuild. Did a search on here for local suspension people but couldn't find anyone. Help pls Btw any ideas on what to do about this guy would be appreciated.

  7. Hey guys, sry to spam with a new thread - but I'm just wondering if its worth spending $1100 on a Wolf 3D for my car. Do I need it? Is it worth it? Should I get something better? Going on: RB20DET FMIC Exhaust Standard injectors 550hp pump Z32 afm T3/T4 turbo currently running with an SAFC. The T3/T4 hasn't actually been installed yet, I'm looking at putting the two together. Or am I fine just running the T3/T4 with the SAFC?

  11. Hm ok that makes sense. Sry to be a nuisance, but if anyone has a good idea of what my car would need cert wise, can they have a quick glance at my for sale post? (link above). Caus I was just talkin bout it with my mate and we both agree it should get thru a pits check. EDIT: Some things will need assessing before hand - ie sterring wheel, putting the SAFC in the glove box, maybe trying to hide the boost controller??? not sure what the deal is with that - but its not actually connected atm, so technically its ok)
  12. Um... I was just told RAC cant do a DPI check on our cars..... caus they are Modified?!!!!!????? Thats a joke, and I'm sure is incorrect. Can someone verify this?

  15. mm I got someone interested in my car - I said I'd be happy going to RAC for a check... its a 'masters check' yeah? Also I was talking to DPI and they said after getting the RAC check all you had to do was take the papers in and its all good. Correct? btw, I have interstate plates is why this needs to be done.   22. Dyno tuned by Matt Spry on the Gold Coast at 185 rwkw. His Dyno is low so the figure is more like 195 rwkw. Engine is in good condition, so is the body and interior. And anyone who has seen the car will agree its a sexy, no work needed, skyline. Ok onto the mod list: Wheels brakes suspension steering: JIC Rear Adjustable coilovers GTR Fronts (rears will also be supplied) 17" single piece Avanti dark chrome drift rims with GT Radials on Front: 235/40 Rear: 235/45 (can also supply 2 more) GTR brake calipers Front: Cross drilled, double slotted performance disks with performance pads (another set of pads can also be supplied) Rear: GTR disks with same pads 1.5 Way Cusco LSD Short shifter kit with Heavy duty clutch Exterior: Calsonic Blue custom paint. Darkest legal tint available GTR grill, skirts, front bar and bonnet APEXI drift wing 10 000v High intensity white Xenon headlights and blue parkers. Interior: Custom Blue/black interior GTR seat MOMO Steering wheel IMPUL Gear stick and custom surrounds. Blue dash and interior lights. Mongoose 5 point immobilizer and alarm Swoosh Boost gauge Turbo Timer Not sure on the Stereo at the moment, but will most likely be: Sony Xplod head unit 6 1/2" Splits and 6" rears running through 2*300W Amp Engine: 3 1/2" Turbo Back exhaust with High flow cat and 5" Cannon FMIC 600*300 with 3" stainless steel piping. HKS Alternator APEXI Pod filter 550hp Fuel pump SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator Z32 Air flow meter Turbosmart Boost Controller Chipped ECU with APEXI SAFC2 Engine was rebuilt at the start of last year. New parts consisted of majority of internals, including gaskets, pistons etc. Christmas also saw new plugs, battery, and a clean up of anything else that needed work. Injectors have just been fully cleaned, serviced and flushed. I think thats just about it. I'm sure there more but can't remember. I can supply a bucket load of reciepts and the dyno sheet along with manuals etc for things like the SAFC2. Car is in great condition and runs like a dream. The only reason I'm selling is because I really want an R34. Running Caltex Vortex and Penrite semi-synthetic and been serviced regularly. There are a couple of glitches with the paint work - scratch on the rear left side from the Container when it was shipped over, but they can be touched up pretty easily. Engine and interior are in great condition. I'm selling for $16 500. I'll also throw in anything else I have sitting around - including a second set of racing brake pads, second set of tyres, pair of rear GTR shocks, second MOMO steering wheel.   23. Righto.. So the general opinion is a no go - but mainly based on it being cheap - not on experience. Not for an RB20 - your referring to lag? or something utterly different? 2GU UP was the guy using on the RB20DET? I think we're talking bout the same turbo here
  24. Hey guys, I know this is a very open question - but I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on the performance of the T70 Turbo? I'm at the stage where if I wanna do anything further to my car it should be the turbo - but I don't want to go to big. I'm looking at one for $400...
