hey guys, just got some coilovers on the weeekend, JIC magic 12k/9k lol.. anyways ive got bbs rims 17x9 +22 offset all round. 255/40/17 tyres. its set to 345mm from centre of hub to the guard and its scrubbing on bumps, whats the best ride height to raise it too? ive looked at the scrub marks and its just touching the outisde of the tyre, i think if it had 245's or 235 tyres it would clear it. i dont really want to camber it as its a waste of tyre life (for my daily driving use), ive got the c-spanners also so shouldnt be that hard to raise it up. cheeeers!

sorry mate i wouldnt know, one of the bolts on the strut (the one where you bolt up from the top of the strut brace) needs to be replaced, as it was damaged from getting removed.. lol i hate rounded bolts you could still use it as is, but personally i would change it. ill price drop it again $150!!!

ok jus finished up installing this lol finally, anyways in regards to the ipod video adapter.. ive plugged it into the visual input (as it says in the manual) and the other audio cable. grounded the parking brake wire. however ipod video function still not coming up? any ideas?

having it rebuilt gives you peice of mind, but then you also got to take into account out who built it and with what?. obviously if its from a reputable place then should be good assuming the owner has taken care of it since it was rebuilt. having the stock engine isnt a problem imo, as long as it was well maintained by the owner. buying one here on the forum is usually a better place to find one since most ppl here are enthusiasts and not someone who just bought it for a thrash. theres quite a few really good buys on sale now! good luck with it

hey man ive got hid in my car. friggen awesome using h3c as well, i got it on a group buy - brand is called techone although mine arnt aligned properly, lol i think i broke the thing to allign them cuz its not moving anymore haha, but good enuff for me only problem is sometimes wen i turn on the light the left (passenger) side doesnt turn on, so i jus turn it back on and off till it does, any ideas?
