  1. I bought andrew an RC car for our anniversary and he sold it one night sitting at the norman for $50 to some toy maker guy :S
  2. Hey Eug.
  3. How are you?
  4. Hey John.
  5. Hey karl!
  6. I couldn't work at home. I wouldn't "work".. Yeah. I know he was pushing it pretty hard to get the most. Maybe that's why he's told me to get the cam gear. *shrugs* I hope he's having fun out at dutton's rally. Mark (I think that's the guys name?) picked the right person to have as co-driver. At least if something goes wrong, it can be fixed pretty much straight away
  7. It's been a constant problem Ross.. Cause the car is tuned during the day in warmer weather.. as soon as it gets cold, things happen. Not quite sure what.
  8. I'm guessing around 280kw? What you reckon james?
  9. Uhm.. it's knocking. First time I've been out since the tune on saturday night and the light flashed. So I just let it idle for a few k's and yeah it was fine. Just gonna have to be careful of that light.
  10. Coolers again?
  11. Well boys. I think it's bed time! Nighty night! Nice catching up with you Ross
  12. Yeah, ****ers. Like we've got money to throw around and replace things
  13. was that aimed at my andreW?
  14. I would have really like to do it myself, just to prove that I'm no pansy. But yeah, we ran out of time. (Plus I probably would have broken a nail )
  15. They only cut a small amount off IIRC. Not much at all. HKS coolers. I love the end tanks. They are sexy, but I love the apexi cores. If it was an apexi core with hks end tanks, I'd be in love
  16. Hey chaos
  17. With a HKS cooler it should be easy like mine. Because they are actually made specifically for that type of car by a company that's reputable (is that the word?) by nissan. I was worried it would take ages, but the only thing they had to do was cut a hole in the front drivers side to let the pipe through (that's if you aren't using the standing piping). Wade, I'm really not sure about 32's, but in the R33's they've got a support bar behind the plastic numberplate holder which has to be cut (which is another reason mine wasn't cut out). Because I got a thicker than normal cooler (apexi coolers are thicker but not as tall) 88mm thick, they had to cut a bit of the lower lip away to fit the cooler properly. But that is the ONLY thing that was cut. Perfect fit otherwise. Not like the hybrid kits for R33's where I've been told that the first instruction is to cut your fan blades so the pipes fit properly without hitting the pipe..
  18. Plus, when I went to the panel beaters, he said that he would personally buy a front bar that's in worse condition if I'm getting the whole car painted and keep the good one. The MSPEC bars are becoming very rare and sort after.
  19. They only left the numberplate bar in because I said I was going to get the car resprayed and the panel beater would do it. But, I don't know if that is going to happen now. Plus I don't want the cooler there for poser value. It's actually doing something. Not just sticking out the front of the car screaming "HI, I'M A FMIC, PLEASE COME STEAL ME!" I kinda like the hidden look, and it's kinda protecting it against rocks and the like. But, I know it's "KINDA" restricting flow. Not that much, but anything's a help.
  20. We were going to do the fmic ourselves as well to save some money, but we ran out of time with the car being booked into gav's for tuning and the cooler only arriving the day we were meant to drop it down. So I just wanted it on and stuff, I did have a choice, but I'm stubbern and wanted the cooler on asap. I've waited 2 damn years for the thing!!
  21. VERY noticeable. A lot more pickup from the word go. Before hand you could really feel that pick up from about 4500 onwards. Now it's just power the whole time. I mean, it's not like a 12 second car or anything, but I'm happy with where Sinbad's at.
  22. Private thread? What? Yes my cat snores. She's not your ordinary cat I don't have a/m cam gears. But I will soon. They are only $200!! I'm not going to bother going that far with my car. If my turbo breaks, I'll get it rebuilt with different wheels and ball bearings. Apparently theres a guy that a friend knows who does them. But I dont want to have to go into the whole injectors, fuel pump, surge tank blah blah blah
  23. Yeah, Gav said my next step is the cam gear. So that's what I'm gonna purchase next
  24. How are you Ross?
  25. Oh and listening to my cat snore
