I'm sure there will be someone there who you can talk to and there will be someone else in your situation who knows no one. We are all very friendly people. GTR Cam: that's the first person I'm going to for a quote, just wondering if anyone else has dealt with him. Dave: I will speak with him and see what he says. But yeah, I don't like to look like I'm using people.

I need some help. I need my car resprayed and I'm just wondering if anyone knows a reputable panel beater that does a good job for average money. I don't want a show car quality paint job, but I don't want it to look like spray cans from supercheap either. So if anyone could recommend someone I could go to to get a quote, I'd be most thankful! I don't want to go to DMD or Arespeed (sp?) I don't want names or stickers splashed all over my car for twice as much money. I just want a good quality paint job.

*nods* I want to pay someone to detail the outside. Cut and polish it. But I suppose theres no point if I'm going to get it resprayed.

Anyway guys... I'm off to bed. I need my beauty sleeps. Had **** all sleep this week so I need to catch up.

That's exactly right. I mean the flake on the roof isn't huge, but I know it's there and I know that it looks terrible.. But others may not notice is :S I'm pedantic when it comes to my car and everything has to be clean. He'll be sparkle princess next saturday night

Its up to the driver to make the conscious decision that the car is safe and legal before driving it. We were driving back from gatton when andrew got pulled over for speeding and the copper said "you know that steering wheel is too small and it's defectable. That means the driver Andrew here would get the fine" I was going to shrug at him and tell him I didn't care, but he probably would have made a fuss about it then. As it was he told us to change it without issueing a defect notice.

That certainly is how it looks at the moment. You can't notice it until you take a picture of that side with a special type of flash. Like ultra bright or something. I want to get that all removed and make it look one colour.

Not quite sure about clearing the defect but. I'm sure that would go to the owner. Because the owner would have to clear it with the cars registration being in their name and all.. So I think, you get the fine and the point taken off.. and the owner has to clear the defect.

Certainly do. Doesn't matter if it's not your car, you were still driving a defective vehicle. Just like if Andrew was driving the skyline and I was passanger, he'd get the fines for the defects and I'd get nothing. Because he was in control of the vehicle.
