  5. Hey All I've had a persistant fuel leak from my fuel cap. I think the insert that is glued into the filler neck (part of compliance) has never completely sealed, so occasionally after filling up I get some spill going round left hand corners. I've removed the insert and want to re-seal it in place. Has anyone got some suggestions for an adhesive/sealant to do this with? I'm guessing fuel tank sealant will do it, but I'm curious if anyone has experience.... Thanks Dan
  6. Yes he is the greatest. Its a pity that he his cut throat exploits are focussed on by the press. But as some have said here already, people forget the past and only choose the remember the positives. Senna was unmistakingly brilliant, but he was a racer and if that mean't pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable driver behaviour then Senna would push that boundary. Suzuka 1990 is a perfect example. It doesn't' help him either that the F1 press coverage we see is typically British-based, being a German sure does have to work against the guy in that regard. And arrogant? Just because someone puts on a "face" when dealing with the sly, scheming press doesn't make someone arrogant. Determined and focussed would be a better description. One of the best ways to recognise Schuey's skills would be to recall his first win for Ferrari in 1996. Spain, pouring rain, V10 running 1 cylinder down and he still obliterated the field in a clearly inferior car. Whenever the conditions were mixed or wet, he always shone. Its a pity Ayrton passed away, would have been awesome to see the two of them face off in the twilight years of Ayrton's career. Looking forward to seeing Kimi get a decent, reliable car under him and see if realise his full potential. Bring on 2007!
  7. Hi I'm after a manual gbox R33 S1 dash surround. Its the surround that the gear boot is attached too, and it also contains the ashtray. I'm near Sydney. Thanks Daniel
  8. Thanks guys Sounds like it is a bit barren around wollongong. Looks like it may be a day trip to kirrawee then. I'd rather go to a suspension shop where its all under the one roof.
  9. Hey I'm looking for a reputable suspension workshop in the Wollongong area to fit a Whiteline Group Buy kit to my R33 GTst. Has anyone got any suggestions?
  10. I'm after new tie rod ends for both LH and RH sides of a Series 1 1995 R33 GTs-t. I went to Pedders to get them (much cheaper than Nissan) but turns out there are three different versions carried by Pedders for the R33. Versions differ regarding the thread type and thread length: 12mm thread 95mm long 12mm thread 101mm long 14mm thread 101mm long Does anyone has any idea which model version I'm looking for? Thanks
  11. hey please email pic of gearboot cover to [email protected] thanks dan
  12. i'm thinking about fitting a hks gt-rs kit to a R33 gts-t, and it appears that hks give you all the bits you need pipes oil lines etc in the kit for easy fitment to the stock exhaust manifold. but im wondering whether i'll need a custom dump pipe fabricated to suit this new turbo as opposed to those available for the stock turbo. anyone have any advice? thanks
  13. does anyone have some notes/instructions on fitting white faced gauges? i can remove instrument cluster ok, but how do i say for example remove the speedo needle??? thanks
