  1. is the shaft play in and out or up and down?
  2. RB26 uses high, the RB20 uses low and can only use the high if the resistor pack is used. which means i'm out, sorry mate.
  3. rb25 and rb20 intake plenums are not interchangeable, what plenum have you got mate? all the holes underneath aligned mean RB25 and the last 2 holes offset mean RB20.
  4. i have the same setup on my car mate and they are crap. the cold braking is bad and they get fade easy too. people i know use lucas pads which are about $140 for the front AND rear set. they have better cold braking and can handle more heat, absolute dump all over bendix ultimates.
  5. i have G4's in my Rb S13 Silvia (8kg/F and 7kg/R) i dont mind them at all and if anything does happen to leak or break, i know i have a 2 year replacement warranty no matter what.
  6. i'm in the mood for a bit of a cruise, never been to a skylines cruise. is an Rb S13 welcome?
  7. AFM dirty as a bastard? spray inside the AFM with contact cleaner, its about $20 a can and can be found in most auto shops.
  8. absolutely shocking, nothing else for it. condolences to the family.
  9. i had the exact same problem mate. mine would clunk when braking for speed bumps, turning into my driveway, when braking heavily etc. i fixed the problem by using a breaker bar to tighten my sway bar 'D' bush mounts and crossmember bolts. the problem was fixed! i had tried installing newer bushes for the swaybar link bits and new rose jointed castor rods also but they didnt help.
  10. i use 3mm spacers and they clear fine. any larger (5mm+) and i't get worried about how much meat the studs have to bite with.
  11. gauge on the left is oil temp. i used to have oil pressure but i believe oil temp is better for a daily driver. i have an oil cooler and relocation kit so i just screwed the sensor into the remote mounting block, the relocation kits really are great for many reasons. water temp gauge is wired into an inline radiator hose sensor.
  12. yeah i was sick of cheap gauges not being 100 true, so i paid a bit more for these. these are the exact same as the SABER gauges with a different logo on them. they have the same hardware and bits in the box as the saber ones also. just 100 bux cheaper than saber.
  13. here are mine from justjap, not sure if they are the same as his but i like them a lot. i'd love 60mm gauges but i had to go 52mm to keep them as a 3 x din gauge kit. they look blueish in the pic but they are very white in person.
  14. the S1480 drift car from last year would have been so uncomfortable to drive the distance compared to the mercs.
  15. problem solved! a mate of mine helped me with the correct wire and now it is all good.
  16. shit a brick, how do i find the throttle signal if there is no wire where is should be on the ecu????????
  17. cheers big ears i heard that it was only for show to have it but then again i thought it might have a certain thing for full throttle tuning.
  18. i have the RPM signal man, just not the throttle percentage. i have the AFM reading also.
  19. hey all i instaled my SAFC2 into my Rb20det S13 silvia with R32 ecu also. i could not locate the throttle wire on the ecu to hook up to the safc2. everything work fine on the unit and the rpm signal is working perfect also. my question is, if i dont have the throttle % wire connected, will it make it harder to tune or affect anything while trying to tune it? the wire i was meant to splice into isn't even in my wiring harness lol. any help would be appreciated because i am having a dyno tune on tuesday next week.
  20. yeah the orange paint is $1800 more than the other colours to get for the XR5's.
  21. FORD CODE EO/6FSE - ELECTRIC ORANGE PTB 406.
  22. i will get it, my mate has one in that bright orange
