has anyone polished their rocker covers on their rb25det? if so is it easy to take the rover covers off. im not talking about the plastic bit in the middle, i mean the part where u pour oil into. and another question is can the gaurd that is infront of the cam gears be removed and driven around, i was hoping it had a nice whering sound being gilmer belts.

i got the japanese rego and parking stickers still on mine, and a Skin Industries sticker along the back window.

jsut wondering why you are getting your gaurd rolled or liped? what size tyres do u plan to fit on your car? ive got 255s on my r33 gtst and i think i can go bigger.

also, over here in QLD, i know this isnt realated, but we have 2 DOT places and they are so full that its not funny. when u get done, u might have to go to the pits and book a time in to get it checked, theres now a 2month wait to get ya car checked. so i sugest u do it legal and u wont have to worry. do it illegal and be prepaired to wait. btw i dont know if them butterfly shutters are illegal but i dont see why they would be. and they would restrict some power as the flow would not be as good. but this allows you to run a bigger exhaust diamater. so i dunow.

o and a tip to all you people. search your boot side 1/4 pannels u will be suppriesd what u find, (open boot pull carpet stuff off stick hand down side and watch for snakes) mine has some wierd looking cotton gloves, stanless steal brackets with price tags, some japanese money and bits of newspapers. *note* i will not be held responsable if u get bitten by snakes.

yeah i kinda figured that so im running it only on 98 octane fuel. i want to get some decent race gas but i need a front mount before i do anything.

jsut to let u guys know, from experience. RWC places take pictures of your cars if they have suspision that u will put your goodies back or/ removal of things. then when u get tried for defects and u think o yeah im cool its all going to be sweet ill jsut show em my new rwc cert (QLD) they will go and ring the rwc company up, the rwc company will most probably have pictures and u will be caught. and they do ring and follow up trust me. and be nice to cops too. their only doing their job. but some are assholes.

haha yeah im happy with it, turned the boost up to 10.434 psi and it runs really fast. but i need a front mount now, not too big. heres a pic of my car. got a bit muddy out sat night, dam commodores drifting infront.

well i jsut purchaced a R33 GTST a while back. and they never said anyhting about the computer infact they know quite little about the car. i took the kick pannel off today and on the ecu theres a gold plate saying it has a Mines ecu. does anyone know if these are good? and what they are worth? will have some pics soon, just gotta find this usb cable.

if ya really wanna sell it i got 17k here, will drive down look n pick up.

someone list of all the diferent types of drifting there are, eg inertia and stuff with explanations, i have seen some but i dont know them all. lol all i do is go in with power and countersteer.

Blackness: sorry to hear about your dad. just like u said i think everyone should do advance driver traning. i know insurance companies subsadise them. what pisses me off the most is, im 18 and buying a r33 gtst. (my hard earned money not parents) i cannot get cheap insurance, and see wankers driving skylines (no offence) who crash them (their fault), this makes our insurance skyrocket. i give shit to anybody that crashes if its their fault, i hate people that canot drive. as most of u might know on the gold coast we have lots of "hoons" and atm theres a gold commodore cop car with a holden sticker on the back. this guy defects everybody and anybody for anything. and the Department of transport is gettting pissed of with them filling in the incorect papers and sending them to get their cars inspected, as they are booked out for a couple of months, if u get defected, u have to show them the cars been fixed, and took book it in takes 2months, so thats 2 months that u canont drive, my best mates jsut decided to sell his ute because he gets pulled over too much, he gets booked for such things as no carbon canister, and the ute runs on pure gas. there are good cops out there. these new confsication laws are also bullshit, they should be out there getting all the drunk drivers, instead of wasting their time on some guy doin a little chirpie to 2nd gear in his commodore (could be any other car) the mayors wife got done for drink driving, she got off the fine and stuff by saying she was on medication. that kind of stuff just pisses me off.
