nice one micko yeah they have sent me on all the oracle courses so I can my OCP (silimiar to MCP...but oracle...derrrr) But I can't be bothered doing exams for it.... I'm not that enthralled by it to actually study hahaha

What do you do skyzerr - if you don't mind me asking? yeah I knowcontracting is the way to go.... but I perfer job stability I guess.... and I do oncall now! So I'm nearly there hahaha

Yeah - that is what I thought of doing.... but I want to get out of IT before I start earning alot of money (sounds crazy haha) but then if I go to ambos, the pay drop won't be so severe. I might just go and work in singapore for a year.....

yeah thats another thing - company loyality. Like they invest a bit of money into sending me on courses and stuff and could I do that to them - just leave? Perth is a small place and if I wanted to go back to IT... word would have gotten around

well you have to do 9 months training (nite school) unpaid then its $24K first year then you earn $50K as a fully qualified ambo (4years). Its 4 days on 3 off (12 hr shifts) I am in th SES and I love that. When I applied for ambos in 2001 - I wanted it sooo badly. but the everyone talking in my ear saying - crap money, get more in IT, waste of a degree bla bla. I wish i hadn't listened to them.

I asking 33Spec about this last nite..... but I am thinking of applying to join the paid ambos. I applied in 2001 and I got in - but then I got my job in IT at the same time and everyone told me I would be wasting my degree to be an ambo so I took the IT job. I need some advice...!!!!

There is a brothel in kelmscott called annameikas and its got on the sigh "fitness and massage center" and there is a treadmill in the window. I told my friend and she goes "no thats a fitness and massage place" and I said - yeah but what to they massage...eewwwww I bet seedy bogans go in there

I've bought my friend some stuff there - its really expensive. I guess alot of cool stuff if you love holdens. he bought his daughter a little lions jumper that has a hood - which is a lions head if that makes sense? Even though its holden - it looks gorgeous
