Sorry I have missed a bit..... ok Someone commented on why I took the .com out of the logo as it will look stupid with the www??? Well the sticker logo I altered does not have www in it. So it would only have skylines australia and those red half moons on it. I kinda agree we may not need the website on there. Its seem to be causing some probs. I like the idea of having the nick names on the right hand side with the logo on the left hand side (on the front of the shirt keeping the back clear) I can inquire about this..... What do you guys think? Also are we going to use that red sticker logo without the .com or is someone goign to design something? Keeping in mind we can't use the skyline llogo as there are copyright issues. If anyone has some good deisgns ... email me [email protected] thanks!

Thanks memphis. The only thing I changed in that red logo was taking out the ".com" since we are having the website somewhere else on the shirt

Here is a quick design I did. The logo will NOT be surrounded by white at all - I couldn't fill it in anymore... The collar will also be black - i did this to show there was a collar on the shirt

okay - I spoke to someone - screen printing on the back not an option on polo weave. Suggestion - small embriodery on the top back of mens. Girls shirt can just have the embriodery on the front left breast (bloody word) (same as what the mens have) and not the website on the back. what about that?

OK - some interesting ideas flying around! here are some prices - I am waitng to hear back from the supplier. Hopefully I will have pics as well. this is all EXCLUDING GST $22.50 - black mens polo $18 - women stretch collared lyrca tee $3.75 embriodery - no set up cost. (this is for one patch) No minimum order required. I have seen the samples of the shirts - quite good quality! With the website issue - where its going to go etc. I guess we can have the web address screen printed across the back - but I think this will look tacky when it starts to come off.

The mens polo - is the knit weave - like a normal polo (not T-Shirt material) they are really good quality. The womens shirt is a stretch lycra. They can also have a polo as well. Sekem is the company that makes all AFL merchandise - so it is good quality

yep skyzerr33 - very true. So if someone is artistic.....

I don't think on the collar is suitable for the www - you won't see it as well as if it was on the sleeve people hardly look at collars - especially since most chicks have longish hair..it would be hidden. The silver embriodery on the sleeve will look very effective - what does everyone think? Also the design for the left front breast (oh there is that word again) can be fairly complicated. I think to come up with our own logo would be excellent..... also you could incorporate "skylines australia" in the front logo.

Ok - i will contact Sekem tomorrow. I will get prices on on a mens polo, womens shirt and cost of embriodery. I will also see if I can scan some pics of shirt samples for people to see....

Opps sorry - strich9 - we have another supplier at work that does things like lanyards. I will have a look in the catalog tomorrow. This supplier has like a minimum order of 25 or something. But if enough people want these then we can get them....

The embriodery is a standard cost - $3.75 ( the prices are at work). Tomorrow I will post all the info I have from the supplier. I think the best look is the logo on the front upperleft (i hate to say it - breast) of the shirt and maybe the website on the right hand sleeve. This seems to be a popular style. This can then work for both the girls and the boys. I agree with gts-t - if some people can come up with a design for the front.... I am thinking black shirt and silver embriodery? Or white if we can't get silver (for the writing anyway). Remember that the designed logo must show up on black.

The SAU logo being - the red one from the stickers?? I like the idea of having the webaddress on the sleeve

its not my company. I am organising shirts for my work - and one of the places we got a quote from had some really stylish shirts and well priced. The branding (logo) will all be embrioded - not screen printed.

If we all decide on a logo to put on the shirts or wording - or whatever..... I can get a quote done up for this. I am sure we can have more than on logo - just for you PVA hahaha Any designers out there willing to out something together???

Well I can oragnise those ones as well if you like.... hahaha You could have SAU on the chest and RICE on the sleeve....

I may be out of line - being a newbie and all. But I think hats were being sold at the cruise on the weekend.... Do we have shirts? I am co-ordinating some shirts to be made for the company I work for and I thought it it would be a good idea to get some SAU shirts? I have already got quotes for my work and one of the companies is SEKEM - the guys who make all the AFL gear etc. They make some really nice womens and mens shirts. There is a polo for men and women (there is a ladies shirt that shows a bit of cleavage) They are resonably priced (around $22 for the polo's) with embriodery and there is no minimum order. What does everyone think?
