the thing is , that apparently If you have been living in a different state for more than 3 months (in this case SA) you become resident of such state and you should change your rego to that state or you may incur any fines applicable. But then again, how are they gonna know

Im also with my NSW rego here in Adelaide, and they ask me to take the car to a Vehicle ID Inspection to make sure it wasn't stolen or something, this is to transfer the car to a SA rego, it was done in Regency, took the car there and the car didn't pass the test.......No it is not stolen that was all good of course but the guy didnt like the window tinting, I asked him is there was anything else I would need to fix or get done he said no, thats it come back when you get rid of the window tinting and you are done! I have Tein coilovers, BOV, HKS Pod, 3"Exhaust, 17" Wheels, the car is very low, but they didn't seem to care about this. So it all depends on their mood really, unless there is another test I need to pass before I can transfer my Rego, and im unaware of. uhmmm. no good.

yes a skid pan would be real handy!! I like the fact that we have the hills at just a few minutes from the city, the roads there are quite fun to drive on. nothing like it in Sydney where I used to live, the closest was the blue Mountains like an hour form sydney or more and quite crap to be honest, Apart from the hills there's ...............uhmmm..........did I mention the hills?............

Cheers Terry M. and btw you wouldn't offend me by giving me more info since my knowledge level when it comes to all of this is very limited.....to say the least Now, I have another issue that I havent even noticed before.... every week regardless of how much petrol a have left in the tank I fill it up again...now, the first 200 k's ,the petrol gauge doesn't move at all, then it starts moving down slowly past the full tank line and then...you can almost see it go down as you drive, it almost goes down 3 1/4 of a tank in 80 to 100 k's. weird. anyone with the same problem.? or anyone know why this could be happening? Thanks guys!!

Do we have here in Adelaide somewhere we can muck around without being disturbed by police or neighbours and the like?? something like a Skid Pan even if you have to pay to get in..(apart from the drifting practices in AIR, which happens once a year If not.. do you know of isolated places where this could be done no probs.. PM me for details or addresses we dont want to bring too much attention

Just out of curiosity, is 380 kms with a tank(60Litres), bad? mixed city and highway (decent) driving, no major mods. Could it be better? if so.. how? and don't say, don't drive a skyline That is almost 16L/100Kms for a 2.6L car Im just not very happy with it, and wanted to see if you guys out there are in the same situation.
