  1. Stolen car was a DB4 GT, apparently recovered due to complete idiocy on part of the thieves rather than good police work. http://aussieexotics.com/forum/cars/stolen...-gt-t248.0.html
  2. A few more pics out and about here: http://aussieexotics.com/drivers/thumbnail...arch-mclf1.html
  3. Someone on another forum - Port Melbourne
  4. Thanks! But what's ECCA?
  5. Friend picked this up last week - S65, 1000nm of torque http://aussieexotics.com/forum/cars/merced...65-t1773.0.html Click here for hi-res Click here for hi-res Click here for hi-res
  6. Bit of eye-candy are ya?
  7. Oh cool - 520 horses and one dude... I didn't see that in the spec sheet.
  8. Yep it's pretty much exactly between Boxster and Carrera - in price and performance.
  9. Yeah - and they're all "slower" than the Datsun 120Y my mate who worked at McDonalds put together in 1993. I've been in all of them at speed, and I know which I prefer.
  10. Thanks! Met James a couple weeks ago before our trip - he brought the Gallardo Spyder along (at my prompting! )... YUM! Didn't get any decent shots of it, wish we coulda taken it to Tassie with us. As for the GT... It's sumptuous luxury and absolutely stunning to look at - but it's really not an exciting car, would be fantastic on the outback roads at 250+ or tootling around in traffic, but on sporty B-roads, forget it! I spent about 45mins to an hour in it on the twisty stuff and couldn't wait to get back into the Elise or F430.
  11. Yeah - I'd post all the pics I take of Nissans too - but, well, gee I'm not sure why I don't shoot them much.
  12. Schyeah Let's get this back on track... Here's some pics of a Maserati GranTurismo I took last week, bunch more plus higher res available here: ---> http://aussieexotics.com/2008/05/27/maserati-granturismo
  13. Posting pics and info here: http://aussieexotics.com/2008/05/04/ferrar...sh-in-melbourne
  14. OMG - more info? Pics?
  15. EXACTLY!!!!!
  16. Shit man - sorry I haven't been here for ages and missed this post, let's just say it's soon and it's very well subscribed and will be one of the best few days of driving you can imagine, I'll give you details over email just in case...
  17. I'd like to think so but there's no need for the pillow talk! The races can become very long and I had a lot of time to compare my lines to someone I was trying to overtake - there's a lot more to it, much of which is likely a series of minor misadjustments on a competitors kart, but there were 3 or 4 corners where I was always massively faster than anyone else that I thought there must be something else at work - like my love of steak!
  18. I haven't found that to be true over the course of a race - I went last night and I was 10-15kg over most of my competitors and much less fit, off the grid they get away off the line quicker which pisses me off, but somehow I hold momentum and speed through the corners and maintained a podium position through it all.
  19. Thanks to Nick for the headsup... Just take the reins and say a day and time and format and price - forget making it a democracy. If it fits in my schedule and I'm welcome I'm there.
  20. Noice. Got anything you feel like taking for a lap of Tassie soon? We already got a Maser GT on board and the usual L/F/P's - probably oversubscribed but something unique might be welcome...
