After installing an electronic boost controller to my car, the oil pressure is very high (like 3/4 to the top on the stock R33 oil pressure gauge) when the motor is cold. If i however apply gentle throttle the oil pressure increases (almost at the top of the gauge) Gradually, the pressure drops back to normal once the engine reaches its optimum temperature. Is this normal?

To put it briefly, a few wires running from the siren to the main unit was damaged and then the siren went off. So I turned off the siren with the key and resoldered all the wiring. However when I turn the siren back on, it keeps goin off. I can't seem to do anything about it. What should i do? Is there a way to reset the alarm? On a side note, the alarm is fully functional apart from the siren issue and the alarm is a Mongoose M80

So with the green wire, do i jsut tap it into the corresponding map sensor part in the ecu? And also whereabouts is the the MAP sensor in an R33?

Is that the one for sale at Balgowlah? I had a brief enquiry into that car when I was in the hunt for R33 sedans. They seem to very negotiable on the price, as the salesperson informed me that wanted to clear out a few cars. I've driven both stock R33 sedan and coupes and can say that the coupe feels a touch more responsive. However with a few mods, the difference between the two if virtually unnoticeable. Yeah as stated above its hard finding a 5 speed one. It took me a few months to find a decent one. IMHO the sedan looks much better with the factory kit Overall, the sedan is a great car and I would recommend it if you're after something different or something with practicality of 4 doors!

I have problems with my car alarm following the installation of a headunit. I don't know if this is pure coincidence or if i have done something wrong? Basically, when I arm the alarm, the doors look, then the hazards blink for a period of time. The blinking ceases then the siren goes off. I have also noticed that the interior dome light does not function either (it previously turned on when the alarm was disarmed) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
