The start of the 90 Mile Straight, heading East. Didn't see any Nullabor Nymphs, much to my disappointment! Saw a few emus though!

Being relatively early in the morning, it took me a while to realise why the Nullabor Roadhouse, apparently surrounded by bush, featured a model whale. It is a short distance from the coast, with a number of access tracks to lookout points. The best one being at the Head of the Bight, which is a sealed road and there is a Visitor Centre, staffed by local rangers.

90 Mile straight heading West!
By the time we got back to Perth, with stops at Madura Pass Roadhouse and Kalgoorlie, we had covered a total of 7,863.5 kms. Most days the average speed, according to Navman, was about 105 km/hr. Everywhere we stopped, people asked about the car.

The Head of the Bight - we saw loads of whales, really close in, but none where I could picture them and the car!

View back towards Streaky Bay on the Flinders Coast - a beautiful spot, well worth a visit. The Hotel is an institution!

Some signs!!
Overtook this road train, then saw the "Explosives" sign and hurried up a bit. Then we stopped for a coffee and the bugger joined us!!

Port Campbell on the Great Ocean Road - a very nice little spot;

The bog at Bells Beach, on the Great Ocean Road - couldn't get a pic with the beach in the background, so the bog will have to do!

The Balladonia Roadhouse. When the remains of Skylab fell to earth within the Shire, they sent Nasa a fine of $400 for littering!!
