Speaking of Boostworx......... Picked up my old car last night, NOW with 550 nismos and EBC, pulled 247kw on 16psi fun times ahead for Shane..........When he gets his licence back!! Oh well looks like ill have to take it out more often!!

Just dropped off my old 33 to him last night for a SAFC II install and injectors, not sure how much Shane is paying tho, but getting a service and few bits done so hes getting a full tune...... I'll get to drive it from Boostworx, Wooooo Hooooo Hopefully around the 250 killa wasp mark now!!

Yeh for sure, totaly agree, and now i think about it i think i may have heard one of them say after smelling my boot and was like "i thought i smelt dope??" Got pulled over today on Sheppards Hill Rd Blackwood by undercovers........... The guy said i sped out of a side street onto Shepps doing 61 in the 50 zone outta Blackwood, then he prcceds to tell me my car looks too low(which it is) but then says "we cant actually defect you, but a traffic cop would" i said "yeh no worries" they looked thru the car, asked if it was modded, i said "nah mate, stock as a rock, do you want me to pop the bonnet for ya" and he said "nah all good mate, have a nice day" WTF, since when CANT a D defect you?, and why is it that i was doing "61" in a 50 zone and he didnt give me a ticket?? Nice cops tho, was from the UK, maybe it was cos im such a nice guy............

Pretty sure they both do the same thing, pineapples are made out of a hard rubber and are softer, where as solid cradle bushes are made out of solid billet alloy and are harder wearing, both will eliminate tramp and will help for bagging it up easier, just gets the power to the ground better!!

Yeh well ive heard of bad axle tramp but not bad enough to pop you out of gear, just make sure everything is tight and nothing is broken and if it still happens then go buy yourself some pineapples or solid cradle bushes and chuck them in and she should be sweet as!!

Mate id suggest jacking it up and getting under there with a set of spanners/sockets and making sure everything is tighter than a 15yo!! If your getting what sounds to me like massive "axle tramp" then there must be something loose under there!!

Hmmmm 17s you say!! well i know the Saloon Cars use Kuhmos and they are a 17 for the AU/VT cars, maybe try ringing up the Kuhmo rep in SA or just ring a tyre joint that seels Kuhmos and get them to give you the dealers number and see if they have any 2nd Handies. we get our Yokohamas from North Terrace Tyres not sure if they would have any 17s tho as our class doesn't run them, ring them and see tho, they might have something they have taken off another car!!

Yeh sure is mate, he had his saloon Car out there also, only brought the Lambo out for a session or 2 at the end, He is from SA btw!! he can sorta drive but has coin and thinks his shite dont smell, All i remember is one year in Classics he had a hot as navigator, and my mate goes up to the car(we were officials) and says "geez mate you have some really nice seat covers" She smiled.......lol

You will not need Brand New race rubber, just find some 2nd handies that race guys dont need any more, they will be fine for what you need to do!! Pity you guys weren't out there the prac before......... There was a trailor near the out grid full of 2nd handies!! Even if you can find some decent 2nd hand race rubber in a 16 to suit stock wheels, they will be much better than new tyres on a 17 or 18, If your on new tyres and they get up to temp then the rubber blocks will feel like shite after a couple hard laps, prob be better running half worn tyres so you dont get so much rubber movement!!
