  1. Both the results above are on p98. Just realized I had forgotten to mention that.
  2. Quick update time! I decided to get some Tomei 256 deg poncams installed along with an adj Tomei exh cam gear and some Kelford valve springs and then get the car back on the dyno to see what we can safely extract out of my setup. Pretty happy with the final results.
  3. Hello from NZ! Running a stock S2 RB25DET in my r32 coupe with the following mods: - Greddy knockoff plenum with a 90mm TB - top feed fuel rail + 1000cc xspurt injectors - Hypergear ATR43SS2 internally gated turbo bolted to the stock manifold - 600x300x80 bar and plate intercooler + custom 3" piping - Link G4 plugin ecu - Splitfire coilpacks - custom dump/down pipe and 3" exhaust
  4. Before I go ahead and open my unit up I thought Id ask. What my car is doing is - I can turn on and change the settings on the control unit just fine but the actual "Fan" or blower doesnt seem to kick it or turn on and i end up with no sort of air blowing. Any suggestions? edit: Just had a go with the auto diagnose. Step 2 - displays 23 (water temp sensor but the car was dead cold then) step 3 - displayed 31 (Vent mode faulty) and 36 (DEF) So according to step 3 it means that the harness or the actuator is faulty so ill be pulling it out. Also while poking around the harness I could hear the actuator motor clicking and making some sorta noise. Could this mean that it indeed is the fault as described above in the posts with the harness and pcb? but also does that mean that it will not blow any air of any sort at all? My issue was there when i purchased the car with it only blowing air into the footwell and eventually it just stopped blowing any air whatso ever. Thanks nish
  5. 1991 R32 coupe S2 RB25det + stock turbo (pretty much a full stock motor and turbo) Link G3 ecu full turbo back exhaust fmic apexi intake 229.3rwkw @ 12.5psi
  6. i was rather suprised to see the result as well. The next step is to get my FMIC on and get it all tuned with a Link LEM G3.
  7. I used the rb25det loom from the ecu to the engine. But i think all i need to do is run a new earth wire from the temp to the ecu and it should be fine. As for the idle...matter of elimination i guess.
  8. After a lot of headaches and 2 rb20det engines...the car is finally back on the road again alive and really kicking with a Rb25det under the hood. A world of difference compared to the rb20det i might add...can really notice the diff in torque and its very responsive now. The next on the to do list is to sort out minor issues with the idle and getting the temperature gauge wrking ok. Pretty sure the tps needs to be adjusted for the idle issue as it idles like a charm with the tps unplugged. Anyways...Current Mods are: S2 RB25det engine RB20det gearbox with a rb30 H/D clutch 3" custom dump/front pipe with a 3" Tanabe catback exhaust K&N Pod Filter Walbro 500hp fuel pump Full Gtr body kit ROH 17" wheels with 215 Federals all around (no good now as cant get traction with the 25 ) heres what i got on the dyno managed to get 211.3rwkws @ 6284 rpm with 1425mn torque (331mn at the flywheel). Only ran 9.33psi of boost. heres the dyno sheet
  9. This in what i have in my 1991 gtst Current Mods are: S2 RB25det engine RB20det gearbox with a rb30 H/D clutch 3" custom dump/front pipe with a 3" Tanabe catback exhaust K&N Pod Filter Walbro 500hp fuel pump managed to get 211.3rwkws @ 6284 rpm with 1425mn torque (331mn at the flywheel). Only ran 9.33psi of boost Dyno sheet
  10. ok been playing around with the car since after wrk and heres wat ive done so far 1.cleaned the afm - no diff 2.changed the CAS - no diff 3.unplugged the O2 sensor made no diff but idle went up slightly and went back down when i plugged it back in 4.the line going from the BOV to the plenum seemed rather loose so i put a new one on with hose clamps on it have got a set of copper plugs gapped at .7 - .8mm which i will put in tmrw will try the other ignitor pack tmrw as well can hear the factory pump whining away when i give it some gas ( can hear it inside as i dont have backseats in there atm. i also noticed while driving that it builds up boost and starts missing/spluttering at about 5psi onwards which is roughly 4500rpm i think. and if i put my foot up it then it goes up to 11.5psi and it doesnt hold the boost though...any amount of boost it builds slowly goes away...like its leaking or something. and while building boost it sounds more like its leaking in surges which in return feels like its missing. I have an external wastegate and was wondering if that could be the issue as the gasket on it seems rather naffed and i think it is leaking through the flange dats connected to the manifold. Could this be the problem??
  11. have gone to wasted spark ( and the car actually ran better ), have got a set of copper plugs that i will be putting in it. fuel pump well am in the process of geting a Walbro 500hp pump and yeah will clean the afm tomorrow. Whats the best stuff to use to clean it anyway?
  12. hey all...while driving on the motorway i noticed there was an occasional miss/splutter when the car started to hit boost. And about an hour or so later when i got back onto the motorway and put my foot down on 3rd it started to miss/splutter really badly as soon as it hit boost. It eventually gets up to 11psi but with a bit of missing along the way. There seems to be a slight miss every so often when the car is idling at about 900 rpm. other then that the car drives fine when off boost. It seems to have gotten worse since it started. Initially i thought it was the coil packs so i put in the wasted spark setup i had but it still did the same. I will put new plugs in it tmrw as i left the iridiums that it came with in it as they looked to be ok when i had pulled them out. Could be it the fuel pump dieing? Have got another ignitor pack that i can put in as well. any suggestions welcome
