  1. Me thinks it will be a hell of a lot easier just to cut some circular discs, engrave/laser etch whatever you want on the centre piece and then mount Maybe I could do some fancy "S" and start up my own brand Good idea though...
  2. mad34; care to post a pic or two with those painted centre caps?
  3. Probably not something to be braggin' about.... but keep an eye out on the Tempe Tyres website, I think my 34 will be gracing the cover sometime this week How embarassing
  4. ignuz; I agree that the GTR grille would look awesome no doubt, but the amount of work + money to get that look is not justified in my books. There are just too many parts that need to be replace in order to achieve that look - and only so that the eyelids look more agressive, proves my point even more
  5. Sorry Danny... guess your car wasn't good enough :D JOKE!
  6. MAR55S: tsk tsk tsk, always the same old comedian n15m0: pics have been uploaded in another thread; think it's in the general car discussion section (sorry lost track); they look different to yours Not as wide...
  7. What is the difference between a series one and series two seat?
  8. Sorry mate, the date has to be around the public holiday period. It's only those dates when I can guarantee an empty car park and the place to ourselves. With painting going on, I think it would be the best option right?
  9. I think you are 100% correct.... the East Bear ones look much more aggressive! But could that be because of the front bar it is partnered with? Could be a "package" feel rather than the single piece feel... Anyways, thanks for the feedback guys
  10. Thanks Dave, Now how about a hook up with those stock rims Also, could you please have a look at the brake caliper day thread and see if you could hook us boys and girls up with cheap paint from your work?
  11. OK you heard him... loos like we need stands
  12. Maybe I should turn this into a poll.... Keep them ON or Take them OFF
  13. Oh BTW, if anyone is after some quality Tempe Tyres seat covers... let me know, I have one spare in White The other is currently protectin' my computer chair from the elements!
  14. SAFC2 D1 Limited Edition went for $200 off a friend Installed for a Lge Big Mac meal
  15. First off; this is not a cruise, not a BBQ or even a dyno day... this is a workshop day or sorts, I just didn't know where else to post it so I guess Events would make sense... INFORMATION: A few of us were talking about painting brake calipers today and came to the conclusion that a group effort on all the cars would be a good idea. This way, we succeed together and fail together Hopefully all goes well and we all leave with shiny new brake calipers! I'm just posting the details so anyone who is interested can join in the fun! The location may be out of the way for some, so it's entirely up to you. If we finish in good time we may do something after seeing it's a holiday and all DATE: Boxing Day; 26 December 2005 (will be confirmed) TIME: Looking at a 10am start to get through all the cars and have plenty of time for the paint to dry! LOCATION: After checking with my mum, she said it's ok to have it at her factory complex car park which has enough parking for 100 cars (across 4 levels), on dead flat surfaces. Only condition is we keep the concrete clear of paint and I make sure everyone who turns up is known/trusted (for security reasons). She is not the only tennant there, other tennants include BMW, Porsche not 1 but 2 import workshops! MAP: Below is a map of the place where this will be held, I am happy to do a 9:00am meet at Chatswood for those who won't know the way. EQUIPMENT: As all the nearby workshops will be closed, and this is purely a car park - all tools and equipment will need to be brought along. If you have any of the following, please post up here and bring it with you on the day. * Heavy Duty Car Jacks (will need two per car) * Normal Car Jacks (will need four per car) * Bricks x 4 (just in case not enough jacks) * Newspaper (obvious) * Masking Tape * Wet + Dry Paper * Any tools to remove your wheels (remember lock nut adaptors) Paint will be provided by each person... you are responsible for getting this before you rock up on the day. There is a thread in here with the types of paints needed. A few other members and I are trying to organize a group buy for the paint but no promises, better have something prepared than to be sorry on the day. That said, anyone who can get a discount on this paint please post up here We will love you for it! I think that's it for now... will add more later if it comes up EDIT: We might organize to have a bbq or something there too because all the shops and stuff are closed, food will be a bitch to find on the day; all depends on how many people turn up - we could all pitch in some food or bbq gear RSVP LIST: * satanic >>> Gold * rukus >>> Gold * Wink * d00dz >>> Blue * ecl * Miss Turbo * ranicx >>> Gold
  16. Purchased a pair of R34 eyelids from MFX about a month and a half ago; finally got them painted and fitted today Decided to go DIY as the initial cost of the item didn't warrant a professional spray job. Besides, the item is so damn small it's going to be near impossible to funk it up~ Ingredients: 2 x MFX R34 Eyelids 1 x Can of Automotive Spray Paint (Nismo White) 1 x Can of Laquer 1 x Brick (to hold eyelids up above ground) 1 x Old Newspaper (to keep my driveway spotless) Process took 2 days as I only began work Saturday evening. Applied 2 initial coats of white and left to dry overnight. Came back from a small meet-up today and finished it off by applying a final coat of paint followed by 2 coats of laquer. Voila.... Eyelids fitted using double sided adhesive tape; had to be cut to size. Because these eyelids "flex" to a certain degree, fitment was clean and easy as you could bend them to the shape of the headlight Photograph'os: [attachmen =15363:attachment] Still not sure whether I'll keep em on for good... a little undecided atm! Maybe they'll grow on me so they'll stay on for a month or two Good thing is that the adhesive is only on the plastic housing of the headlight which means removal is a piece of cake!
  17. LOL my IC isn't crooked... just the way we have cut the front lip makes it look that way Maybe it's time to bring out the angle grinder again! d00dz: yeah there was a set of lock nuts put in so that's cool Although, I have heard from a few people that the lock nuts from Tempe don't actually work ecl: yeah, tell me about the farkin' wait ehh? Well time to finish painting my eyelids See how they look with the new setup! PS: d00dz and ecl, I'll see if I can string together that event for the 26/12/2005. Oh praise CALIPER DAY!
  18. Well this is what I purchased today, very happy with them when I think about what I paid and what I got http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=98848&hl= Check it out, tell me what you think S

  20. ** FIRST DELIVERY SCHEDULED 21/12/2005 ** Hello everyone, Following the interest of the last DVD production, I have gone ahead and turned the footage from the 2005 Show n Shine into another DVD. Those who were there will remember that it was a fantastic day with well over 90 participants! That probably rates as one of the largest collections of Skylines in Australia at any one time! I know it happened a long time ago, but hey, I was bored and this is what I came up with Anyhow, those member who got the Avoca Beach Cruise DVD off me will know the drill here, but for those who are new and are interested; here's the deal! 1) Watch the Trailer URL LINK: CLICK HERE FOR THE TRAILER 2) Send me a PM Private Messages are a preferred way of dealing with this, lets me keep an active record of who wants what and when. Simply send me a PM saying you're keen, I will reply with all payment details etc. 3) Make Payment + Provide Delivery Address This is important; you'll need to do it through direct deposit so ensure you follow the instructions I give you. 21. mad34 - what was the end cost of the Emanage Ultimate (installed and tuned) 666Dan - same question for you but regarding the bikirom? SK - If the unit works initially without any faults, what would cause the breakdown after a few weeks?
  22. I chose panel only because I have one in there... In a little while, I will be "borrowing" a pod to experiment and see the difference for myself. You should have a "interchangable" option on that poll too
  23. What are the gains to be had? 666Dan; Damo was telling me about bikirom and your experiments, care to shed some light - their product looks interesting to say the very least!
