not sure all they said was that it was making full boost but didnt do so until 5500rpm, a similar car they had made boost at only 3300rpm

repairs to front bar, sideskirt and rear bar, repairs to both front guards, resprayed roof .... i wont give you total figure cos i had other work done aswell, but i will say they were very resonable

hmm ok then, but it makes full boost but not until high rpm, so its just really laggy

i deal with chris mostly, it was him that said the oil change was done when it wasn't

hmm ok then. I'll give them an hour so hopefully by then it should have been back on the dyno to see if the actuator change fixed the problem.. could anything else cause mega lag ? maybe low compression in the motor? or boost leak somewhere? cracked manifold or something?

grr im a bit worried my car is going to be ready and to the standard i expected if not i'll be kicking a shit about it as i booked the car in ages ago, and it looks like they've only just started on the tuning work, and lied to me about changing the oil (the 1st bloke said yeah mate thats all done already, then i spoke to the guy thats working on the car and he said it wasnt done yet ) just dosnt inspire confidence...

hey it shouldn't be a big job to switch actuators on a turbo once installed? workshop rang to say they think the actuator that was on the turbo is stuffed as it doesnt' make full boost until 5500rpm when a similar car with this turbo makes it at 3300rpm... i told them to try the actuator from my old turbo..

all i know is that they cannot have sharp edges and cant affect the structural rigidity of the part, so for a bonnet if you have to cut into the support its a defect, although they can do you for all sorts of reasons (eg: possible oil and fuel leaks, even cutting the bonnet skin or guard would still make it weaker too)

195kw on 8psi at the moment... apparently the injectors are already near maximum

i'd def go the kit as you know they will all fit and gaskets will be good quality etc... some genunine gaskets are expensive, but dunno if you have a suitable dump pipe already that can be adapted with minimal modification then its alot of cash for some gaskets and nuts
