toyota cressida mx83- they're a really nice cruiser, much better built than a pulsar or a commodore, lots of car for not much money but make sure you get a good one as their engines (same as the supra) had headgasket problems.

hmm ok well if it helps anyone i had 3rd party on my 2nd car for 3 years with AAMI, then was able to get comprehensive on my 3rd car for a year then went to a rating one which i currently hold with justcar insurance (which are part of aami)

a 3rd party property insurance policy also counts towards your rating, you dont have to get comprehensive

might be easier to replace the whole climate control panel? they arent that expensive, i was just ebaying before there were 2 on there

I never wanted to get a real cheap one - i thought the $500 budget was quite reasonable! anyways i only spent $550 ..ebay FTW ! one bizzare option pioneer decided was useful was a tacho, somehow it knows my rpm without any inputs...its reasonably accurate too! guess they had to keep the riceboys happy

so john you're saying your car was unaltered from the time you got the defect to the time it passed inspection? ie: a pod, atmo bov, whatever other mods were fitted to the car when it went over the pits? I'm assuming it was, otherwise you will have no case at all??

actually if you just get 3rd party property it counts towards your insurance rating.. i had 3rd party on my 2nd daihatsu (as comprehensive was going to be 880 per year!) a few years later with my next car i went in as a rating 2 and quickly became a rating 1 by the time i got my skyline - hence i only pay 960 per year for full comprehensive for my car (including mods). Oh and barinas suck, buy a charade!! rwah daihatsu powah
