This is the first time the smoke problem has occured, i ever let the car sit idle for 10 mins afterwards, but the problem didn't occur again.

Might be time for a plug change

Will faulty coilpacks or ignition module cause this?

Will a leak from one of the rubber intercooler piping connections cause the car to hold back?

I've got a split dump/front pipe in S/S from AM PERFORMANCE, very good quality.

I've also found that every month or so when i check my oil catch can its got about a cup of water in it, no oil just water (light brown colour). But the coolant level is always full, so where is it coming from?

Looking for an AAC valve, must be in work order. Prefer one already in SA. To suit a R32 Skyline RB20DET (silver top)

How much smoke came out of your car Mid_Nite_R33? Just a little or heaps?

It happened at about 10.30am this morning, i had already driven the car for about 15mins, so it was all warmed up. I stopped to pick some stuff up, re-started the car and let it idle for a little bit this is when the problem occured.

I was sitting in my car while it was idling and the car was parked, 2 mins later i put it into reverse and notice in the mirror that when i gave it a rev to reverse there was white smoke from behind the car. So i reversed out of the park and got onto the main road, there was still white smoke coming out the exhaust. I gave it a good boost in 2nd, a lot more white smoke came out, but then it stopped after that. I got home and let it idle for about 5mins and the gave it a few revs, but no smoke came out. This it the first time this has happened and it seems like its a once off. What caused this?

I've had this problem for a while now, the other day i changed from standard to an R32 GTR pump. Still have the same problem.

When driving my skyline (R32 RB20DET Manual), as soon as i reached the 2100rpm mark on acceleration, it sort of feels like its holding back but it jerks forward like it doesn't know what it wants to do. When i put my foot down to accelerate its ok, once past 2100rpm, not a problem.

Does anyone know what i'm on about?

Looking for one piece of R32 intercooler piping, don'y need the whole setup. Must be a piece thats relatively close to the turbo.

I reckon thats going to be the easiest way of fixing the prob.

My R32 skyline seat seems like its leaning back when set to the most upright position. Its it possible for the seat to jump gears/cogs to allow this to happen. The person in the back seat behind the passenger has very little room because the seat is reclining back. When lifting the little arm on the left to raise the seat forward more it the seat slides foward and so a passenger can get in....

The adaptor plate is flat, i'll take some photos and post them up.

The plumback hose is to short, its only long enough for up and down, the angle is causing the problem.

I've got a Greddy type S BOV and an adaptor plate, but the adaptor plate puts the bov off on the angle now, unlike the stock one which points directly to the plumback hose. Has anyone got some pics of their setup with this BOV on their RB20?
