Afm keeps getting oil on it, need to clean out the intercooler and all the piping and figure out why the oil is getting there

I had my z32 cas rebuilt by AFIin lidcombe when it died, cost about $200 from memory, looks identical to the mitsubishi rb25 one

is the hread pitch on either end of the stud different, if so(i think they are)torquingto nissan specs with lubricant will increase the headgasket crush by about 50%

IMO the mains dont look great, but its hard to tell from pics, the fact all the big ends are trashed points to oil issues, could there be contaminants in the cooler etc? have you asked rips? Theres not somthing funny like oil thermostat or oil filter block incorrectly plumbed? how do the cams look?

or for a really fast test, when you remove the cam, put straight ege across the cam followers, a bent valve will show up as increased clearance

unfortunately loosing the fmic wont make any real difference to the rpm boost threashold, just to lag, i wouldnt expect a gtx35r to come close to a gt3076r, when they are worse than a gt35r. Imo spend the money on a hta 3076 with a good setup manifold/gate etc, probably the most responsive 500rwhp you will get, need e85 or wmi though

have you considered using the head that you already have , just build a new bottom end and swap the head once the motor is out
