When you unplug this does it effect the aircon in anyway? does it mean once unplugged the air wont blow to the feet only? hence every other mode will work fine?

You can get day permits from RTA which allow you to drive from one destination to another only. But it aint worth you driving down from sydney to melbourne. Reasons; 1.
