  1. It was me! And it wasn't a Hilux, it was a Navara You know I was kidding Kristian, just couldn't resist
  2. That sucks mate! Especially with all the shit you've been through, including the break in! As said, the builder should be coming to the party in some way. I wouldn't sell it, you'll lose way too much then regret it down the road. If it were me, I'd just keep it and work on it slowly rather than get rid of it completely
  3. And that is relevant to who will fix her car, how? Kahli, there's lots of good suggestions here, best of all; talk to the people. It's all well and good everyone telling you where to go, but if you go to a place recommended and you just don't get on with them, it doesn't really make for a pleasant experience
  4. Yeah that Z33 is a terrible loss. Used to love seeing that thing around
  5. Just do it, for a few dollars now, you won't regret it later. I'm doing mine soon, including a port/polish on the head and I'll be going the same route (Metal HG and ARP head studs)
  6. Sure was... Bengi won't be replying now, he's just left to join the Navy. If you have any info, please forward it onto me, I can get in touch with his parents
  7. Ah that's shitty mate, bad way to end your stint in Adelaide
  8. It's not that... his car is insured under his company, they have about 20 cars under the policy, he's not sure on what ones are insured, how much for, etc.
  9. Sadly, no
  10. Ah sorry... I'll be in Sydney meeting Eliza Dushku, I know what I'd rather do
  11. When is that Pete? (I'm too lazy to look )
  12. I'm sure they do Andrew, maybe the next one eh?
  13. Are the girls yours too?
  14. And where were you mister?
  15. Not necessarily...
  16. It's a figure of speech... as in "They're not mine I'm afraid" Lost in interweb translation
  17. Going there tonight actually Not going on the Kellie cruise I'm afraid, PM me your mobile, I'll hook ya up when me and a few mates go for a spin
  18. My thoughts too however they test each one with a coloured dye after they are manufactured, surely this issue would come up then?
  19. Very very unusual. I'm no metallurgist but seems like there's definately some issue there. I assumed leak from weld or where the sump mates to the block, not coming out of the metal itself....
  20. How so and from where?
  21. Nope, the engine was fairly standard at the time
  22. Stock standard when it went through save for the oil cooler/relocator kit which was totally fine, they even commented on how perfect the setup was. That didn't stop them from finding "worn bushes" and "rust on the sill" (the "rust" was a joke)
  23. Everything and anything... Was an absolute clusterf**k passing my car the first time I got defected. Even though it had been through compliance maybe 6 months earlier.
  24. Spot on. With all my experiences I think their a bunch of tossbags
