Cheers. Going to be installing an aftermarket actuator and changing the boost level to around 10-11 Psi. Using the stock Gauge I would have NFI what level its at, as its super vague. If the car already has a boost gauge i cant see why they would defect you for have a different type of boost guage. I think they only care if its obstructing your vision, and since its the stock location it shouldn't change anything. Sounds easy enough to remove, will give it a shot.

Hi Guys, Doing up a list of things to change ona friends r34gtt and we would like to replace the stock boost guadge with something that reads in PSI. Is there a direct replacement item, using the stock sensors? i read somewhere the nismo one should be, but i could confirm this / or find a PSI one. s there much work involved in fitting an aftermarket gauge, what size is the mount? i wouldn't mind fitting up a turbosmart one, http://www.turbosmart.com.au/product/boost-gauge Is there a tutorial on removing the triple gauge mount? i did find one on this site, but all the picture links were broken cheers! Further to this, R34 Gtt Neo's use the Nissan top feed injectors. I have seen drop in replacement 480cc Nismo ones, but these are not big enough. Are there any drop in replacements for the neo motor? I have heard the injector dynamics injectors are quite good, but looks like the rail etc needs to be replaced. Does the sidefeed r33 rb25 rail bolt in? Id much rather use a side feed rail and some Nismo 740cc injectors.

Hey, My mate finally got the modification bug and told me he wants to get 400Rwhp from his R34 Gtt. Its pretty standard atm, with just a cat back fitted. we have a 3' dump/front, turbo smart dual port BOV, Intercooler kit and pod filter to fit up. I have been speaking with HP-in-a-box and they do a GTX3076 with Nissan rear housing, internal gate, spacer, braided lines for around 2.5k. Obviously we will be getting the other supporting mods (z32 afm/740cc/nismo fpr/ally rad/bosh Fpump/clutch) but im just looking for assistance selecting the cams, head gasket and head studs. Also, to go power fc or Nistune - im leaning toward Nistune at this point in time. Looking forward to any advice you can offer, thanks guys!

Hi Guys, Does the standard r32 turbo require an oil restrictor in the oil feed? I have a Turbo diesel patrol that i have been using R32 turbos one, this weekend i blew my seciond 32 turbo so i am just investigating why. the oil banjo i have for it does have a small oil restrictor and i was just curious if this was stock or not. oil pressure, what pressure does this turbo need? my patrol pretty much sits at 3 bar oil prssure all the time. thanks. christian

Hi Guys, Ive been offerd a cheap unrego r31, aparently running however it has no radiator. now what other rads will 'sort of bolt into a r31' ? can i use anyone radiators? or am i limited to r31/pintara radiators? I have acess to a r33 one, but will it fit? and by will it fit i mean it does not have to be bolt in, will it fit in the general area with cable ties and alow me to test drive the car kinda fit. also, if anyone have a r31/pintara rad in the perth area for cheap / let me borrow that would be awsome to!? thanks christian

True that, its not hard to safely stop for a amber light If you have to speed up get through a yellow light then you should have been able to easily stop for it.

I heard they are using as speed camera's atm (or still in trial) as lots of people speed up to get through yellow lights. Its just increasing the locations that you will get pinged for speeding. Good for them, bad for you. short end of the story, don't speed, you wont have anything to worry about.

This Setup does not have a breather pipe. Will post pics tomorrow when i remove the turbo in the morning whats specifically would u like me to photo, so you can see why it may have failed.. ?

Hi Thanks for all the info. The reason i rotated it was to have the oil on top and the drain below, as it was fittest to a patrol not a skyline. It has been blowing oil into the intake. its been doing it for about 2-3 weeks i guess but on the weekend it was blowing so much the diesel engine was 'missing'. It was shooting so much oil into the intake the poor diesel engine dident have enough diesel in the cylinders to compress / combust correctly. I will post pics when i remove it on the weekend. Has anyone ever rotated the exhaust and intake of the rb20 turbo. i had to to fit mine to numerous things and i must be doing it wrong, as they seem to last about 1-2 months before a seal is broken and oil is spilling into my engine. given this is the second time, i dont want to have to take the next one off in a few months i want it to last. Hey Looking for a RB stock intercooler. Would prefer of a 25, but would take a rb 20 one. I need two of the same, so if you have two lying around that would be awsome. If not i can take one and find another one from somone else. Prefer SOR perth, but will consider all options. Please let me know what you have lying around. Christian

Hey looking for a dump pipe from an rb series engine. i think there all resonably the same? prefer a standard one for cheap / free, around mandurah, but will consider other options. want to test fit to my patrol as it runs a t3 type turbo. Hey Bubba, seems like alot of rb20 owners do that ! I actually got tiesto's one yesterday, so i no longer require one, but thanks anyway guys ! Soon ill have a r32 turbo in my 180sx, it already has a r32 Afm and radiator. And a 2 way diff that was taken from a r32 skyline. I wonder what else i can take... Thanks Guys, ive got my turbo so this thread can be locked / closed / ignored now !

Rb 20 det afm, green label recently found out the series one 33 with the rb25 also has a green label afm, whitch is the same. Faulty afm, could cause engine to stall while driving? some times hesitation? best best is to take it our, and coat it in contact cleaner untiull its clean. clean afm plug, put it back in and see how you go

I dont see how hard it could be to install.. One end goes to positive boost pressure, ie inlet / ic piping Other end goes to Wastegate actuator of cause i could be wrong, thats how my current setup works ive just payed for 2 of these bad boys last night (me and a mate) hopefully give me more control over the boost /Happy
