Na your not nuts FAT32. If I had the money I would get stuck into my RB20DE. And I know the sort of sound your talking about, nothing better than hearing an N/A motor making all it's own power the ol' fashioned way.

Na, they actually sound like crap, as well as loud. Not to mention when you jump off the gas they sound like a truck exhaust brake! -

All I got is the standard bore pipe (2" I think) headers and three coby's all about 15" long. The car has made 120rwkw on the dyno with this set up, how ever she only ran 108rwkw the other day  Anywho, I think the important thing is to avoid using stainless anything on the system as this resonates badly with the N/A's. Also, a turn-down or dump pipe at the end will keep the bark away too. I get many comments on how good it sounds yay! -

N/A gear box/ turbo gear box

Should fit unless the belhousings are different because of the bigger clutch, but I doubt it. The block is the same between the two cars, the non-turbo boxs are weaker and have slightly different ratios I beleive. -
Wow, 20°. thats a fair bit for standard, well there ya go, Cheers Rach!

About 12 or 15 is standard on a 'de, not sure bout single cam tho. I'm running mine on Mobil 98, it don't like 96 much anymore. Just be careful that you don't advance it too far 'cause you can do some expensive damage quite quickly.

Hey, I'm new here and from NZ. Damn good forum you got here. Anywho, I assume Nissan sets the timing so retarded to get better economy etc. I'm running over 20° advance on mine and it made a huge difference to power, tourque and just all round drivablity.
