  1. Yeah and all we need now is for someone to start something up for all of us small rally clubs.
  2. Hi everyone it really was a great night last night. Kingy you should have come and pulled up with us, that was what we where waiting for. Oh yeah dudes, just thought I'd share Marshall's and Hoary's idea with you all. They both reckon that you need "HSV: I JUST SPANKED ONE" stickers, LOL, go the spank crew!
  3. Ok Dan for future reference the rules for Motokhana's are generally: Get out there and have a lot of fun! A local fireman in the club owns a modified Chrysler Lancer Rally car, this car in the past has gone through 2 sets of rear tyres in one outting, with terrific cheers from the crowd. Just to put it into perspective a motokhana involves navigating a set of poles put out in order, some of these poles are usually barely five meters apart. How do you think a volvo would get around such a track? Go the drift! I've attached an example of a course to show what I'm talking about. Oh and unforunately it might be a while till we can run another bitumen event up here. You see the saleyards are the only place we can run, and considering the cattle industry at the moment so we must run on a weekend when there are no deliveries, like a long weekend with the monday having no sales. I'll let you all know when another one is coming up though.
  4. Hi everyone I just thought I'd let you know that I made the trip down to Gladstone for the Motokhana but unfortunately it had been cancelled. Bugger, but anyway I thought I'd just tell you about an interesting thing I saw. On the way down we went past a group of imports that looked like they were on their way up to Rocky, maybe for the cruise or something else, this was about 12.30. Anyway the group consisted of a few 300's a S13, a few R32 and a few R33. So I was shocked when I was on my way back again at about 2.00 when we past the red 300 with a bick wing heading back again I was like What? Then we cam accross all of the cars pulled over and talking. It looked like they had been pulled over by a cop . So I gotta wonder what they did to still be sitting there over an hour later. I don't know exactly what was happening, but I reckon it would be interesting to find out from anyone who knows.
  5. I just wanted to clear up what happens in cases of pile ups (if you want to call it that) because I've been involved in one. In was stopped at a road works site, when we started to move again (very slowly) the VK that was stopped behind me proceeded to floor it and ram me, which sent me and my Camry into the bcak of a F100, absolutely twisted the Camry and little damage to either of the other cars. The entire fault of the accident was that of the VK's, even though she had no insurance. Hope I've helped to clear something up for someone.
  6. Jus thought I'd let anyone know that the Motokhana in the K-Mart car park in Gladstone is on this Sunday starting from about 9 or 10 am. If anyone wants to come down, let me know. Otherwise enjoy your cruise dudes. It's sounds like it's going to be really good.
  7. Hi everyone, The R32 GTR from Emu Park is indeed back, although I'm not sure what exactly has been done with it. The Motokhana in Gladstone is also on this Sunday 3/08/2003, so unfortunately it looks like I'll miss most of you guys attending, oh well, I won't know until Thursday whether it is on or not. But when I know I will post in here. If it is bitumen I will be attending, if anyone is interested in coming down and spectating let me know (although obviously I know actually driving your own car at a cruise would probably be much better). Oh well, talk to you all soon:(
  8. Correct me if I'm wrong (which I probably am) but don't Daikin make some awesome clutches? Although I think they're european. THere was plenty of High Octane 4 DVD's in Autobarn today about 20 minutes after Squizz was in there too. Oh and the dude thats been canning Dev's old 33 is in fact Briscoe's sun he's been driving it home every after noon of late. and gods it's sad when he pulls up preparing to drive up his driveway only to sit there chrunching and searching for gears for a few minutes. I think I saw Fro pulled over last night. Did he get of alright? Or was it major defect time? I hope not. See everyone around.
  9. Hi everyone, just a update on what's going on with this Motokhana. The cost for the day is over $100 and so really too expensive however I am trying to organise some interested people to come down and spectate and show support so that when we run another one up here at Gracemere it will be at a cheaper cost. It sucks, I won't be able to make it to the test and tune on the 16th. I was really looking forward to it but I need to do some CAMS training down in Gladstone instead. Oh and having a head cold really SUCKS!
  10. Hi Craz0, there really aren't many mechincs that work on imports up here. I think most of the work is done by owners. It might be an idea to go and talk to some places and see what they say though. You never know they might be able to help you. Some of the mechincs I'd recommend are North Rocky Mechanical off Farm Street. Good luck anyway, what colour is your SP20?
