Does anyone have one of these? Are they any good? What is the noise level like?
-
nah, pug 205 GTi, the Skyline is my current car.
-
Blue all the way.

Anyone tried playing WMA songs instead of MP3s on this head unit?
-
I ordered one from my cousin (a purchasing officer at Toyota) for $935, it should come in soon. I can't wait.

There is a new patch for UT2K3. I read it gets rid of the CD scan thing at startup.
-
Have a look at this thread. I have the same problem... No big deal (I think...lol). http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...?threadid=12049

Download the update patch and the free (yes free!) bonus pack with 10 new maps, new mutators and more. www.unrealtournament2003.com :headshot:

Are the MTX Thunder subs (4000, 6000 and 8000 Series) any good? I have had a JL Audio 10W0 in my old car and it was s***. Any thoughts?

If the speaker guide is as good as the head unit guide I'll use it too. Good job.
-
That's a great guide . I will using it for the installation of my new head unit (although I don't have a factory head unit in the car). Where did you order the tray at the bottom from?
-
i think I'll get one. I had a pioneer stereo in my old car and could not find any faults. I'll just have to shop around to get the best price.

Bummer! I checked last night and there is an OptusNet server for DM. There were too many servers going to check all of them (about 1000). Played a bit of DD and CTF. Not bad. I could get addicted.
-
Yeah I have it. It does rock. I have not tried to play over the net (just play it at lansand single player). Have you tried the OptusNet server? I think Telstra have one as well. Come to think of it most of the bigger ISPs should have a server running.

I am thinking of buying one of these head units anyone have one? Are they any good? Thanks.

I'll dust my dash and the next morning there is a lot of dust. I just have a cloth in the glove box to clean it up if it starts to annoy me. I have no idea what causes it though.

Its a major bitch. The car is so quiet but I can hear those f**king bearings make noise. As long as the noise is not a terminal illness I'll just leave them.
-
I think I'll just have to leave 'em, I don't want to spend big $$$ on labour for a small job like greasing some bearings.
-
Does anyone know if these can be lubricated (without removing the gearbox)? Mine are making a little bit of noise. When I touch the clutch pedal they stop. Clutch is in perfect condition too. I know some cars have a special panel to look at the condition of the bearings and to grease them. Is there one of these on an R33?
-
Evolution R sell them. www.evo-r.com
