Gday fellas Just one question. I have a 1993 s1 R33 is the passenger side door the same fit as that on a 1995 R33 S2 ?? It is hard to find a replacement door from a s1 in black and an s2 one has come up for sale thought I would consult the experts before I buy it. thanks in advance for your comments

Thanks Guys The compressor idea is a good one, The squeeling, is not like a belt squeeling noise, it sounde like electronic engine noise, maybe this is also due to the compressor failing... will check the belt this evening

Gday fellas Havent taken my car out for a while from the garage, but over the last couple of weeks im geting this noise. It sounds like engine noise and is coming from the engine bay its like a squeeling noise and comes and goes as i Accellerate ( funny thing is it only turns on when i turn on the Air conditioning and stops th eminiute i turn off the AC button) On another note the Airconditioning is no longer cool ( Do you think the noise has anything to do with the Re-gass being nescesary) ? The part that weirds me out is Engine noise as i understand is usually stereo related, but i have no sound in the car, the deck is out, and so are the amps, so just speakers sitting in the sockets with wires attached and nothing on the end .... either way weirderd out

Hey Guys I know this is an odd one for the forum, but i figured someone out there has to have this stuff.. Does anyone have Synthetic lawn laid, ( is it as awesom as they say it is) ? and does anyone know what the price should be like, I have seen prices vary from $20/sqm - $90+ / sqm ( for DIY) and some places do installed from $45 / sqm, I know there is a quality difference, but this is a massive price diff. Anyone have some of the cheaper versions installed, and is it good / Where did you get it from. Im just trying to cover as much sand at my place as possible, without Emptying the bank accounts, have aprox 120sqm to do in the front alone.

The way i figure it if i wrote off the car, I can just buy another one. Iif im paying that much insurance and excess to cover my car to the value of what 8k, i may as well just use the money saved and buy another one, and scrap the car for parts. paying that much % of the value of the car to insure it is so not worth it. If my beast were worth more than that the insurance may be worth it. Some guys Pmed me about getting a new door $180 in black, hopefully the black matches.

Bit harsh yeah its not about affording the Insurance it just plain isnt worth it, $1500 for the insurance, $800 excess , + $400 age excess I have however got third party insurance covering other peoples cars, im not irresponsible.

lol thanks mate Yeah i thought of that, Insurance is a fair bit tho, around $1500, because im under 25 and also for most part insurance wouldent cover my car based on modificaitons. and then i would also have to pay the excess etc.. I managed to find a white door, $150 or there abouts, then need to save for a pannel beater to paint it. unless i can find a stock black door. How much do you hate guys who reverse into the side of you car when parked in a parking lot, and then Piss off meanwhile leaving my uninsured beast of a Skyline, mangled on one side. Any ideas where i can get a Black door replacement. and a decent but not going to kill me paint job

Any one who has a problem with the tweeter dented, I also have a Perfect set of Clarion tweeters you are welcome to take as replacements, they are awesome.

some dick snapped mine off and left it next to the car... what i did. Cut the top end off so i had 1 inch, and i glued this into the hole where the antenna used to be, So it looks fine, and sits in the metal casing. Had to also remove the white teeth plastic by cutting off and pushing what was left down with a screw driver. I then unplugged the power from the motor, bu reaching into the boot trim underneath and feeling around, there seems to only be one plug, althernativly you can cut the power coming from the deck to antenna, should be hooked to the REM blue / white wire. either way, still get perfect reception with the antenna down

Most Car places sell replacement terminals i picked up a couple of them from Super Cheap autto for like $6 each, and put a light truck batery in my car, they sell all the sizes
