  1. i aggre with johnny. because your "just" getting your p's, i suggest a r32 and even though you want a turbo you wont be able to drive it depending on which area you live in. also with turbo on your ps at 17 insurance will be quite expencive and honestly getting a turbo for your first car isnt realistic, unless you have experience driving. goodluck. post pics when you decide what your looking for and if its the r34 gtr that you are looking for, you can always spend a bit of cash on a conversion bodykit.
  2. by the sound of the rough roads, your not heading over to the suby forums are you? hehe
  3. cant say i have had that experience of saying goodbye to my pride and joy like you, must of been gut wrenching! Atleast you made such a great goal and can move on to your next project. so what was your probs with the authority to make you sell it?
  4. thanks for the help guys. hmm i was hoping i could get to atleast 14-16 without new fuel pump and injectors ehhe. my mates xr6 runs 14psi with intercooler and new turbo+ exhaust. also mates 180sx runs at 12 with the same mods. guess ill need an engineers slip anyway with the other mods on right?
  5. I was wondering what psi a stock r34 gt-t runs at? im guessing around 8? also what mods would i have to install to run it safely at around 16psi on the street? im looking at spending just under 20k on the car. and then atleast 10k on the car straight up, ofcourse ill still be spending more as the time goes by though. Also for the guys that 'really' know what they are talking about would you be able to list the brands with the products. that you have had experience on your cars? Thanks alot, looking forward on hearing your answers!
  6. ashiya okuiike driving up the top of that mountain is a short but nice drive. also couple of rokko/kobe mountains to drive up. roughly 1-3am ive seen a couple of drifters go up/down.... pretty risky with no roads closed! i want to head back to japan.......
  7. /agree having a few private lessons to teach the basics or bits you dont know is handy. even i still learn new things when i look through the book.
  8. ahah yea sorry i was typing with the lights off and i dont really edit forum posts etc. but i was in japan for just over 3 years from 1 week before my 17th b day and until i was about 19 but i took a few holidays around the world while living there. now that im back in aus i feel like an outsider and really miss japan.
  9. i lived there on and off for 3 years from 17-20. i studied jap a little bit but i couldnt focus and got bored of my obahan sensei...... anyway i moved on to work in a hotel and picked up japanese from there then i moved into a friends club who owned an after club for hosts and hostdess bring their customers. i learnt alot of japanese from there while also learning the polite japanese from a few good books( i bought heaps but i only needed 2 main ones from the same company) the books were books for youngh children to learn the basic japanese but in english. from then on i didnt need it and i expanded my japanese by my self. also not having any gaijin friends helped alot because i had to force myself to understand japanese because 99% of the people i were with were japs..... im now back in aus and very bored.....working in sales 6 days a week......soon ill go to uni for international studies and go to japan once again and live happily... PS i also had a awsome GF and thats where i learnt most of my jap.(dont hang with fluent english speaking people because i felt they were around me for my english mostly. haha sounds mean. and not entirely true. but it does help!
  10. its a nice tv. i work at harvey norman sony would be a good one to buy.but not for that price.
  11. well considering left hand drive has become legal since what i have heard in the past few years.... im not sure.my dad owned a 59 corvette a few years back and he told me that there are alot of left hand drive cars out htere. i looooooooooove the green eclipse from F&F. AWD turbo. very nice car. the one in 2F2F is gay. front wheel drive v6 ....just shit(alright on the vw vr6 but not a long ugly car) and i dont know why they would make the 2nd main car in 2f2f another eclpise but newer model. it could have been something different...plenty of cars i could think of.....
  12. bump send me details to [email protected] price and pics of your car. thanks
