  4. For sale I have a series 2 RB25DET engine and gearbox (complete). Has been converted to 3 coil twin spark iginition system using commodore coils and R32 ignitor. Aftermarket 260kw clutch bought from site sponsor (don't remember which one sorry :-/ ) other than that, motor is completely stock and untouched. Will seperate $1500 for engine and loom/$1200 for box (neg) Engine has approx 60,000k's. This was in a S13 Silvia, and has been out of car approx 12months, ran great when it was in the car.   10. ok got some different coils. Still have the miss firing problem. Dropped the boost a bit (from 10psi down to 7psi) and this has made it a fair bit better. But still not right. Anyone got any ideas?
  11. AU Series 1 correct? Do these have inbuilt ignitors? or do I continue to use the R32 ignitor I have?
  12. Just saw a picture of the VN series1 Coilpack. (which I presume is the one that is used) This looks exactly like the buick one I already have. Could the problem be in the type of wire I have used to wire it up?
  13. I'm using Buick coils with RB20DET ignitor on a RB25DET series 2 engine. The engine is missing a fair bit at high revs. Have just replaced plugs and checked timing. I'm fairly sure this has only come up since installing the wasted spark setup. I dont fancy going back to the coils to test as I will have to buy a new coilpack loom (I chopped mine to install the wasted spark system). Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Would moving to the VN or AU coils be worth a try?
  14. I have mine working with an r32 ignitor and Buick Grand National V6 Turbo coils. Series2 engine by the way
  15. I emailed this guy and didnt get a response. I ended up doing some hunting around and found that the coil packs he use are from a Buick Grand National V6 Turbo. I got them on ebay brand new from the states for less than $AUD50 Got an ignitor from an r32 as I have a series 2 rb25 and the ignitors are in the coils. Wired it up and away I went. No more idle problems.
  16. I went with ignitorless coils on my series2 to by wiring a series1 ignitor into the engine loom. I dont see why the reverse wouldnt be possible, but it would be a pain.
  17. Where can I get one of these spacers and how much are they?
  18. What crossmember are you using? Where do I get one of these plenums and how much are they?
