  1. for what car? where you located?
  2. sorry chris just realised i put the wrong size up lol. they are 225/50/16's on mine. placard says 205/55/16's as standard. i took a pic of it for you as well.
  3. i've got a scan of a brochure for the r32 v-spec and v-spec 2. it says v-spec had 225/50/17's and the v-spec 2 had 245/45/17's and i'm pretty sure the stock gtr rims were 225/60/16's as well so that should give you two sizes that work in a 17"rim without having to change anything else
  4. 225/60/16's. I've got stock rims and had to do tyres not too long ago on my gts4. pretty sure i read that straight from the Japanese tire place card in the door jam too. Which reminds me, i still haven't gotten round to coming up to say hi yet either.
  5. yeah i bought mine from a guy i know that owns an import wreckers. he gave them to me for $550 with tires. we thought they were just the normal bbs rims until i got home and checked the text around the center caps. had the part number and all on it lol
  6. i think that the bbs 17x8's that came on the 32 vspec's look the nicest. i had a set on my gtr when i had it and i thought they made the car look a million dollars.
  7. nice, i'll hafta take out my rx7's sunroof motor and get it done too if its only around $80.
  8. yeah same with mine, it was in somebodies yard up north unregistered for several years. but the interior in mine turned out to be in awesome condition when it arrived so we were pretty happy. anytime you wanna chat let me know i'm on here at least every couple of days.
  9. can't remember if it was someone on here or the uk gtr forum that was doing it but they did their own r&d on an rb30 sump adapter/4wd conversion plate, and i think they have a few made up. if i find it i'll post up a link. btw, i have an r32 gts4 as well. same colour as yours i take it from your pic. its in pretty good nick except for the paintwork cause the clear is lifting from the top edges of most of the bodywork and making its way down lol. just out of curiosity do you, or anyone else reading this thread, know what sort of paint the original paint is? i.e 2pac or acrylic etc?
  10. have a chat to the guys at R.I.P.S. they're pretty well know for 4wd rb30 gtr's. http://www.ripsltd.com/
  11. Hey guys, i just wanted to see if there is any interest in having their car stripped back via soda blasting? My partner and i are getting to the stage where we want to take control of our own income instead of relying on someone else to tell me how much i can earn lol. We're in the process of trying to organise finance and equipment and will hopefully be all set up and ready to go within the next 6-8 weeks. So we're basically testing the waters here to see if anyone is maybe building their latest masterpiece and needing to strip back the original colour, building a racecar that needs blasting inside and out or even someone who has their own industrial equipment that they want cleaned down/stripped for repaint. Or even stripping single panels for repaint. How much realistically you would spend in having the whole car stripped or even just stripped for a doors shut respray etc would be helpful too. Any other questions you can pm me etc or just reply in this thread. Thanks guys. Btw, for anyone else that jumps forums like i do, yes i've asked this on other forums as well. Just looking for some info and a bit of indication of potential customer thoughts/needs.
  12. hey guys i'm looking for a bit of advice on my sr20det (yes i know its not a skyline lol). it appears to have a lumpy idle which the previous owner says is due to the larger s13 throttle body and lack of adjustment of the tps when it was installed, but it is now throwing up oil all over the exhaust manifold and over the front turbo housing. The car still pulls pretty hard on 16psi but there is no oil on the rear housing or the block. i pulled the alloy cooler piping off both sides and there appears to be oil in the piping pre-cooler but post-cooler it is as clean as the day it was made?? also the dipstick doesn't seem to want to stay down completely. it doesn't feel like it secures itself inside the top of the tube and whenever i pop the hood to do a check, it's usually up about 1cm. btw its running a catch can but isn't really getting any oil in it if that changes anything. thanks in advance guys.
