  1. oh forgot the gas issue we have 93 octane and can generally get 19-20 pounds on most motors before we run out of octane, this is the general rule of thumb. according to precision turbo i can generate 450 at 20 pounds on the gt30r. this i can not verify as i have only used the t series turbos before and this is my first GT series turbos.
  2. yes i am in florida in the US and there is not much support over here as most of our knowledge on these cars actually comes from you guys. and yes we are addicted to big HP motors but as i see it 450 is not alot as i have friends in the military still in japan and there seeing stock rb20det putting 400whp all the time, so i can not imagine a rb35 not being able to do this as the tuners they run into in japan says that we underestimate the rb motors. i on the other hand only have your forums to save me from blowing my motor or fixing my dilemas as they arrive. although i have taken the 2.4 ka24de engines that were stock in the nissan 240sx here to 400 and over and they were not turbo charged from the factory and are a pain to get tuned in. so i haft to believe the all mighty rb series engines can handle it.
  3. i have a Greddy intake manifold, and a HKS exhaust manifold 50mm external wastegate with a gt30r turbo. a set of 550cc injectors front mount, tomei cams Power FC greddy boost controller greddy turbo timer" just for the looks" thats what i have accumulated at the moment i am adding a aluminum flywheel and 6 puck clutch and a underdrive crank pulley as soon as funds allow. with this similar setup the guys locally are making big HP on there 240's with rb25 conversions. does this setup sound like it would be on the mark??? i hope so as i have sunk a ton of research and so much money i have had to lie to the wife on the prices just to make everything smooth.

After doing much reading on this as well as the other forums in Australia i have come to the conclusion that 450WHP is obtainable on the stock RB25det without much risk or problem with proper bolt ons and excellent tuning. my question is with my suspension proplerly tuned"HKS coilovers" for drag. and wide 5Zigen fno1rc rims i am still not sure the widest i can run without having to roll my fenders but i am thinking 9 inches wide. what type of 1/4 mile times could i possible see with a good launch???? any input would be helpful as i have my r32 GTR but i still like the looks of the r33 better but i want the eventual 10sec 1/4 mile out of the R33 and i am thinking it can be possible.

  6. good idea!!! great idea actually and makes complete dense to me. only problem is here in the states there is no service for these, so i will haft to source the parts myself and get the service manuals and get my buddy to help me tackle it. is this a job that requires the front diff assembly to be removed from the car or can it be done with it in the car? i am going to do the clutch so i guess i can do it the same time. thanks

I tried searching but can not find a definent answer as most are asking about 18" rims, I am odering a set of the 17" 5Zigen fn01rc black with the polished lip i do not want to roll my fenders or have any type of issues of scrubbing. I do want the largest size i can safely put under the flares without it affecting car or driveline in any way. i was told 17 by 8 in the front 30mm offset and 17 by 9 30mm offset in the rear although with the flares on the GTR's fenders this seems kind of small to me. and there is not alot of GTR's here so the local rim shops are not very knowledgeable on these vehicles or specifications. thanks alot
  10. does anyone here actually have experiences with these units as i am very interrested in one as well, but i have had bad experiences with the rb25det version they sold on ebay cracking. althought this design looks beefier and better built.
  11. ok i guess that was what i was after was to make it react faster, but i guess if it can not i guess the next best thing would be controlling how much torque is going to the front for drag racing purposes. i am trying to track down a power fc pro to have the soft touch and launch control to help aid the skyline AWD ability. i was told by apexi usa that you can no longer get a pro model, are you guys able to still get them on your side of the pond. thanks again guys for all the tech support i get from this forum without all the HATE of american forums.
  12. would it not be more practical in a drag race situation to run a unit that can hold the torque to one preset amount like the HKS or does the one r31 nismoid react fast enough that it is just as effective. would these units be better than say a r32 gtr vspec attesa controller that is if it will be a direct plugin and if i can locate one. thanks

I just purchased a r32 gtr and love it. its alot lighter than my buddys r33 gtr and i can feel the diffrence. my question is when i play with it compared to my friends 33 gtr, the attesa seems to act faster and more to the point that my 32 gtr does. is this becouse the software was better in the 33 being a newer car or what. is there a way to upgrade to a better controller to make the attessa react better? what do you guys do?? thanks
  14. i just purchased a r32gts4 and was searching but could not find a definent answer. i am wanting to take the rb25det engine i just built to go into my r33 and put it in the gts4. will it bolt to the front diff/oilpan what type of wiring has to be done to acomidate this engine setup. thanks for the help
